What's New in Zoho Invoice | April - June 2025

Hello everyone!

We're excited to share the latest feature updates and enhancements we've made to Zoho Invoice from April to June 2025.

New Integrations via Zoho Marketplace

We’ve added a new set of powerful integrations through Zoho Marketplace to help you streamline your financial workflows in Zoho Invoice.
  1. QuickBooks Online for Zoho Invoice - Connect your QuickBooks Online account with Zoho Invoice to sync customers, items, credit notes, and payments across both the platforms. When you create invoices in Zoho Invoice, they will be created in QuickBooks Online automatically, ensuring efficient invoicing and accounting processes.
  2. viaSocket for Zoho Invoice - viaSocket is an AI-powered workflow automation tool that enables you to automate data flow between Zoho Invoice and over 5,000 other apps. Create seamless workflows to save time and boost productivity using AI.
  3. Braintree for Zoho Invoice - Integrate with Braintree to streamline your payment processing, enhance security, and provide a smooth checkout experience to your customers. This integration supports secure card payments across multiple countries and currencies, helping you expand your business globally.

Add Images to Email Templates

You can now upload images directly from your desktop into your email templates. This allows you to add banners or other visual content to enhance your promotional emails.

Here’s how to upload images to your email templates:
  • Go to Settings > Email Notifications.
  • Select the template you want to edit and click Show Mail Content.
  • Click the Insert Image icon and select Upload.

Create Local Taxes [Mexico Edition]

Zoho Invoice now supports the creation of local taxes governed by State and Municipal authorities in Mexico, which are separate from the federal tax authority (SAT). These local taxes can be set up as either transfer (Taxes) or retention (TDS) types based on how they are applied in your transactions.

Here’s how to create local taxes:
  • Go to Settings > Taxes > Tax Rates.
  • Click + New Tax and enter the Tax Name and Rate.
  • Select Local Tax as the Tax Type.
  • Click Save to apply the changes.

New Summary View in Reports

We’ve introduced a new summary view option in the Receivable Summary, Receivable Details, Payable Summary, Payable Details reports when grouping is applied. This view lets you view just the total value of each group without listing individual transactions, helping you get a quick overview.

How to enable the summary view:
  • Go to Reports and select the report for which you want to view the summary.
  • Click the Group By dropdown and mark Display only the total value of each group without showing individual transactions.

Record Income TDS Payment Without Income Amount [India and Global Editions]

You can now record Income TDS payments for a single invoice or multiple invoices without having to enter any amount in the Amount Received field. This is useful when the TDS payment needs to be recorded on a different date than the invoice payment date.

Other Feature Enhancements

  • Zoho Invoice now supports Filipino and Bahasa Melayu. Update your language preferences anytime by going to Settings > Organization Profile. These language changes will also be reflected in the Customer Portal.
  • You can now access the sync history for your Bigin integration. Navigate to Integrations > Zoho Apps > Bigin, then click the More icon next to Bigin. This helps you monitor sync activity and troubleshoot any issues efficiently.

We regularly update our mobile and windows apps, so visit the App Store, Google Play, or Microsoft Store to ensure you're using the latest version.
