Assign tasks to users from the Resource Utilization chart

Hello everyone,

Managers track and manage workload of their team members to avoid burnout and optimally utilize their skills. The Resource Utilization chart in Zoho Projects makes this job easier by providing visual indicators of an individual's workload.

To make this even more efficient, we have added an option to assign tasks to users directly from the Resource Utilization chart. This can be done in two ways:

1. From the task bar on the chart:
Click on a task bar on the resource utilization chart to open the assign user pop-up. Managers can assign users to the task, modify work hours, and set flexible work.

2. From the list of tasks on chart:
Hover over a task and click on the Assign User icon. Managers can add or remove users for the given task.


The change in assignment also reflects in the task details page and notifications are sent out to users.
