New and Improved UI for Online Meetings in Zoho Meeting

Hello there,
We hope you're enjoying our video conferencing feature for your online meetings. This month, we are glad to present our revamped UI for online meetings. We have made some useful changes to make features contextual and easy to access. In addition to this, we have also added some interesting features and enhancements to make your online meetings smooth and hassle-free. Let's take a look at these changes.

Better visibility and access to main features
The main menu has been moved to the top of the page with a dark background for better access and visibility. From this menu, you can access the participants list, chat, meeting settings, screen sharing, Lock Meeting option, and audio and video control.


Know who's speaking
Zoho Meeting now makes it easier to identify the active speaker in your meeting with a blue frame around their video feed. You can also see a microphone icon in the bottom left corner of their video feed.



Give Control moved within participant list
The Give Control feature that lets participants access the presenter's screen remotely can now be enabled for individual participants. To view the Give Control option, go to the Attendees list and click the More options icon next to the name of any participant.



Change audio/video device from Settings
If you want to change your microphone or camera during a meeting, you can do that from Settings. You can also control sound notifications and bandwidth conservation from here.



Request remote access from Settings
While the presenter is screen sharing, participants can request remote access to the shared screen using the Request Control option in the Settings menu. Remote access can be used for collaborating on files during online meetings.



Search and sort attendee list
You can now check if a participant has joined the meeting by searching the attendee list. You can also sort the participants list by name in ascending or descending order.
