User-define autocorrect/ autoreplace please!
I am a engineering student and I always have a hard time typing out symbols such as x-bar, V-dot, H-hat, H2(subscript)O, T1(subscript),T2....\pi \alpha \rho.... The solution I come out will is pretty simple. I modified the auto correct list to include _1 --> (subscript)1 _2 --> (subscript)2 ... for all number and a to Z same goes for ^2-->(supersubscript)2 and all the Latex symbol \pi \rho \pm \times .... This way I can replace as I type without having to remember to "find and replace" all the symbols
Export of a Document with Images doesn't contain images
When I export a Writer Document to Microsoft Word, and if the original document contains images, the destination Microsoft Word document does not contain images.

How do i add a second page, to an existing page.... i have been unable to find one... I.E in the original WORDS you can do ctrl+enter ( or was it shift+enter) to make a second page at the bottom of your 1st page...

As I type, sentence shifts to next line mid sentence
As I complete typing a word in a sentence I hit the space bar and start the next word. When I type the first letter, the cursor automatically shifts to the next line and continues the sentence there. This is new and I haven't changed any settings that I know of other than change paragraph options to "opt" and this was happening before I did that. Any thoughts? Many thanks. Bill Sterling

Greetings Zoho Engineers! I've noticed differences in a Zoho Writer document exported in .odt and .doc formats as rendered in OpenOffice 3.2. From a single-spaced document with a framed image exported as odt and a doc; In DOC EXPORT, you lose frame around image but otherwise normal format. Loss of document content - it got not saved?
Hi! We are five people writing in a document. But the content don't seem to get properly saved. The issue get revealed when someone exit the document and later loads it again. During typing the "saving..." sign flashes time to time. We have clicked the saving button. When we later look in history trying to recover lost content the versions seem to be all equal with just minor variations. The document is less than ten pages pure text. No images, tables. We are using FF 3.0 and IE 7.0 om Win XP Pro.
Return Key always double spaces
When I single space a document, the single spacing works fine. If I complete a sentence mid page, and hit return, it always double spaces. I want to prepare a document with single spaces so when I export to my blog, there are no spacing problems. I am unable to place the cursor a single space below the last sentence. If I use the space bar to go to the end of the line, then it autmatically single spaces to next line below. It would be simpler to hit return and go to the next line as a single

I would love to be able to change the line spacing on just a few lines in a document rather than only being able to adjust line-spacing for the whole thing. Think Resumes, for example, where it makes sense to space sections close together but add an additional .5 space between sections. Writer menus in Russian
There is a small problem with drop-down menus in Russian (BTW, it is VERY NICE to see a good localization, thank you). The problem is that apparently some Russian words are longer than corresponding English words and several letters appear on the next line of the menu. The example is "Insert - Insert special symbols" line.
Folders and document management
I love the recent technical improvements to Zoho Writer. But what I really want to see right now is better document management. I'm using Writer a lot, and it's hard to go through all my docs to find what I'm looking for. This is one area in which I think Google Docs is actually better than Zoho Writer. Newbie needs to know how to delete comment
I added a comment in the middle of a sentence and associated a comment with a word. In either case, I can't find the menu item to delete them. Couldn't find it in the right-click menu either.

Writer Updating Changes Slowly
I like Writer, and use it frequently. Lately, I have had problems with very slow updating of documents. I make an editorial change, and though it shows in the saved document, It doesn't change in the printed form. I print from PDF mainly, and it may take up to 10 minutes before the changes appear in the PDF. Is there a way to correct this, either on my end, or on Zoho's end? SteveB

zoho writer - simultaneous editing issues
I share a document with 5 or 6 other users. None of the users "lock" the document but when multiple folks try to edit at the same time, the app seems flakey. Sometimes the second user cannot edit the doc at all. Other times they can edit, but the edits fail to save. Sometimes the edits save, but the person that was in first loses their changes/edits. Are there any best-practices I can follow to avoid some of these issues? Does the lock feature still exist? I recall seeing a padlock on the old version,

In zoho writer I share a document with 5 or 6 other users. From time to time two people will edit simultaneously. When this occurs, sometimes we've noticed the document locks so that only one user can edit. When this happens the second person cannot alter the document. Please note that none of the users are using the LOCK feature to lock the doc. Also, occasionally when multiple folks edit, sometimes one person's changes fail to save. Are there any best-practices to avoid the issues described above? Thanks
Can't Move Doc from Zoho Docs To Zoho Writer
Greetings All. Since Zoho Writer stalls whenever I attempt to upload a raw 500k doc. file and also states that any zip file I try to upload is always corrupted and un-uploadable, I use Zoho Docs because all those features work there, oddly enough. Only thing is when I want to edit the file and hit the EDIT hotlink, Zoho Docs tries to load up Zoho Writer which only chokes on the doc all over again. It's although Zoho Writer is a whole different program with its own incompatible import/export rules.

Syncing or working offline
I'm a Newbee, so pardon the simple question. My assumption was that because I had imported a MS Word document when I set up the syncing with Google Gears it would allow me to go back to the original document, which would include my Zoho Writer editing, and work on it because the two would be "synced." It appears I still need to be in Zoho writer in order to work on the doc offline. If this is the case how do I get the final document back in the MS Word format when I want it? I see an Import tab
