Is there a way to have a check list for a task? For example: Task List 1 Task A check list item 1 check list item 2 check list item 3 check list item 4 Task B check list item 1 check list item 2 check list item 3 checking off 2 /4 items in Task A would result in Task A being marked 50% complete Is this possible?Forum Categories do not Delete
When I'm adding a forum there is a "right side panel" that lists "Forum Categories". I have tons of categories for projects that have been trashed and Archived. I am absolutely certain that none of those projects ever had forums. When I delete a category (by clicking on the trash can beside it) the Category goes away but the next time I create another Forum, all the same categories are still there. When looking at lists (e.g. of projects), I often need to reapply the same filters (e.g. all active projects that are owned by me) many times a day, day after day. It would be ideal if I could save these filters in some way, e.g. by making them the default for me, or even better, i could bookmark them. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like this is possible. Hi, I'm just getting my feet wet with Zoho project management. As the admin for this project, I'll be adding 3-4 additional users. After I complete the setup for a new user, is an email sent automatically to that user? Can I choose to NOT send an initial notification, at least not until I'm ready? Hi there, We have an existing project that I want to specify a budget for. I opened the Edit Project screen and have most fields already set, including the Billing Method (set to Based on Project Hours) and a billing rate. I then try to change Project Budget to Based on Amount and enter a value of 3000. When I click the Update button, an error message shows at the top of the Edit Project screen saying 'Please specify a valid rate'. Hello, we are a bit confused because when testing the Zoho Project we ran into this issue(?): We opened and assigned a new task with these details (for example): - work hours per day: 10 - start date: 12-12-2018 00:00 - due date: 12-13-2018 00:00 - duration: 2 days (20 working hours) The problem is, we can add even 60 billable hours under the log hours and set the task complete. I think the Checklist extension has some awesome potential. A few suggestions to make it better: on the Checklist tab, indicate the number of checklists so that there is some visual indicator that there's something to be looked at there...similar to showing the number of subtasks on the subtask tab. I often find that I just need to put a task due date, and often a start date isn't appropriate or necessary. However the system doesn't allow for a due date only, it insists on a start date as well. In any given task list for us there are priorities, so due dates need to be assigned. The task can be assigned to a person at a later stage, and, when that is done it is at that time we would also then wish to assign a start date. As the title indicates, I manage my own internal projects using my normal business email in my own Portal, and I am a Client user on my Clients' projects using that same business email. Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion. All you have to do is, click the Task Sorting option and select the required criteria.
