Using OCR in Notebook
Notebook uses OCR to extract your content and help you search your notes smartly.
Before you begin
Here are some things to note on OCR in Notebook
- Notebook uses OCR to create Contact Card. For more info please refer.
- OCR search will be available only for registered Notebook users.
- Only PDF File Cards will be supported in OCR search.
- Notebook uses OCR to scan your notes but your data won't be available to third-parties or advertisers. Your data is yours and yours only.
Using OCR in Notebook
1. Click the Search icon and type your search query
2. Notebook will list the search query across all your notes. This includes text in your Photo Cards, transcript of your Audio Cards, and the text in your File Cards and scanned documents
3. Pick the relevant note card from the search results
Object detection in Notebook
Notebook uses object detection to help your find your images and shapes easily.
1. Type a keyword related to the image or shape in Notebook
2. Notebook will automatically list all the notes with the image or shape present and pick your relevant notes.
Notebook uses advanced object detection to suggest tags for your Photo Cards in the iOS platform.
