Edit user details

Prerequisites

Roles required to perform this action:
  1. Organization Owner
  2. Organization Admin
  3. Security Admin
  4. Help desk Admin
  5. Custom role with "Edit Users" permission.
Permissions required to perform this action:
  1. Edit users
You can edit a user's details, such as their info, photo, and email address. 

The steps to Edit User Details vary between the two User Interface versions supported in Zoho One. Select the UI version you use from the tabs below and proceed with the steps that follow.

  1. Sign in to Zoho One , then click  on the top-right corner.
  2. Go to Users, then click on the user. You can also use  to find a specific user from the list.
  3. To edit a user's info, click , then click Edit. Make the required changes, then click Update.


    Notes
    For external users, you can only edit custom fields. You can use these custom fields to collect and store certain information about them (such as title, contact detail, joining date) that might be useful for your organization.
  4. To edit a user's photo:
    1. Click on the user's photo to upload a new photo.
    2. Click  on the user's photo to delete the existing photo.

Unified UI
  1. Sign in to Zoho One , then click Directory in the left menu.
  2. Go to Users, then click on the user. You can also use the search icon to find a specific user from the list.

  3. To edit a user's info, click Edit. Make the required changes, then click Update.
    Notes
