Introducing Query Workbench in Zoho CRM

Hello everyone!

We’re excited to announce the Query Workbench, a brand-new interface designed to improve developer experience of building Queries in Zoho CRM faster, simpler, and more intuitive.



In the past, constructing queries required navigating across different panels to configure query details, handle serialization, manage schema, and validate results. With Workbench, all of this now happens in a single, unified workspace.

What’s new?

  1. All-in-one experience: Choose the query source, configure the query, handle serialization, see the response, set variables, manage schema, all without leaving the window.
  2. Instant results: Execute your query on the go and see the output alongside your changes.
  3. Smarter design: A modern, cleaner layout guides you through the process, making it easier for new users to get started and faster for advanced users to refine complex queries.

  1. Expanded sources: Go beyond CRM modules with support for external databases (SQL, MySQL, etc.) and cloud data services like Amazon and Google Cloud.
  2. Other enhancements: Rearranged tabs for easier navigation, schema comparison, and support for new CRM field types such as lookup and URL to open related records or websites from custom related lists, and much more.
