Tip of the week #49- Get all Facebook messages within your shared inboxes!

Handling customer messages across multiple platforms can be overwhelming, especially when your team has to track conversations separately from emails and other inquiries. For example, if a new Facebook message comes in, a team member must switch to the Messenger app to respond. This constant back-and-forth slows down response times and increases the risk of missing important messages.
With the Facebook channel in Zoho TeamInbox, you can bring all your Facebook messages into your shared inbox. If your business has a Facebook page, simply create a Facebook channel for your team's inbox and manage Facebook messages just like any other customer inquiry—all from one centralized space.
Create a Facebook channel in Zoho TeamInbox
  1. Log in to Zoho TeamInbox.
  2. Click the Plus icon on the left pane and select Channel > Shared Channel.
  3. Provide a name for your channel and select an inbox from the drop-down list for this channel.
  4. Select Facebook as the channel type to create the channel. Click Next.

  5. The Facebook authentication pop-up box will appear. Once your credentials have been verified, your Facebook business page name will be displayed.
  6. Select the authorized Facebook page and click Create.
  7. If you want to add another Facebook account, choose Switch Account.
  8. Verify your new account, select your business page, and click Create.
  9. Once the channel is set up, you’ll be able to access it for the selected inbox. The inbox members will be able to view and respond to Facebook messages along with other channels.

Note: You can create a Facebook channel only for shared inboxes, not personal inboxes.
