Train Zia answer bot on only part of Knowledge Base?

Train Zia answer bot on only part of Knowledge Base?

We are trialing Zia answer bot and hope to use it on the knowledge base to help our users find the information they are looking for. I have found how to train Zia on the entirety of our knowledge base. But is there a way to train it on only certain categories of the KB, or to exclude a category from training?

The reason I ask is that our knowledge base has a lot of old articles with out of date information. We are slowly updating them, and in the meantime those old articles we haven't gotten to yet are all in the category "legacy knowledge base" with a warning message that the contents haven't been updated lately. So ideally I would train our answer bot on everything except that legacy category.

Alternatively, is there another way to achieve what I'm looking for?
