Democratize data visualization across your organization using Chart View in CRM

Hello everyone -
As part of CRM for Everyone, we've introduced a whole new set of features. This announcement will focus on one of them: Chart View.


Why did we add this view?

To put insights directly in the hands of the people closest to the action.

Here's a common situation we've all experienced: Staring at rows of module data and asking ourselves "What's going on here?". 


The answer to this question is buried in those rows. We just need a shift in perspective to reach it. 
  • Till now, the ability to visualize CRM data was centralized within the Analytics tab. In most organizations, this is controlled by ops teams, analysts, and executives. To access it, you'll need the requisite permissions or will need to contact the right person. Once you access it, you'll need to create a component where you'll have to select the component type, set the criteria, and so on. In addition, you'll need to switch tabs multiple times as part of your workflow. This is tedious for simple visualization needs.


  • This is where Chart View comes in. From now, you can visualize data within every single module in Zoho CRM (both org modules and team modules). Any user who accesses the module can use this ability. They can simply open a module, switch to Chart View, and see a visualization of the exact data they were staring at just seconds ago.


    Not the visualization you were looking for? Quickly change the chart type to get exactly what you need.

    All this means that you can zoom out to spot patterns and zoom back in to take actions without ever leaving a module. Instantly, without any request tickets, or waiting, or gatekeepers.
This empowers every rep and every manager to think like a data analyst without being one. They can now make smarter decisions where they work.
