Hope you are doing well. We saw many updates and new features in Zoho Inventory during this month, and I am sure many of you have already come across at least some of them. Let us give you a quick synopsis of what has changed in the last month.
 
1. Feature spotlight
Our feature of the month is our Items module, so let's take some time to understand it in more depth. We've seen a lot of our users experimenting with the different inventory tracking functionalities that this module offers. This video will give you a quick walkthrough of the options available in our Items module for tracking the products you sell and managing your inventory better. 
2. Expert talks
 
We conducted a free webinar last month with the experts from the 
Sensiple, Inc. team. During the webinar, we discussed using tools like AI and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to easily manage your transactions and meet both your organization's needs and your industry's demands. We also talked about using automatic validation of your vendor bills from images or PDFs to reduce the need for validating items line by line while creating a purchase bill.
3. Product updates 
 
- You can now track your purchase orders in Zoho Inventory using our AfterShip integration. This gives you real-time updates about products shipped from your vendor's location to you.
 
 
 
- A major update for the Indian edition has made it mandatory to associate HSN/SAC codes with all the items in your Items module. This will make sure that all transactions are backed by the right HSN/SAC codes to comply with the latest mandate released by the CBIC (Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs) on April 1, 2021.
 
 
 
- You can add shipment tracking URLs to shipments you've created from the built-in shipping carrier integrations in Zoho Inventory or your integrated shipping service providers.
 
 
 
- We've added a way for you to use UPS for your shipping needs by leveraging the third-party billing function. This feature helps you bill the shipping charges directly to your customer's UPS account without leaving the Zoho Inventory app. 
 
 
 
- Custom sync for your shopping carts is now available for all the in-house marketplace and shopping cart integrations developed by Zoho. This helps you re-sync transactions for a particular period of time - for instance, to capture historical transactions that were missed during the original sync or integration process.
 
 
 
- The new Retail Premium template for sales invoices will help you capture the right amount of data in an elegant and compact layout that can be printed on small paper sizes (3-4 inches in width). 
 
 
4. Resource Center
-  Learn from our very own Mira Natarajan about how ecommerce and online marketplace sellers can prepare for Brexit. In her article, she outlines some of the consequences sellers will face due to Brexit along with some of the new customs rules that they'll have to follow.

5. Compliance
 
Zoho Inventory is now compliant with SOC2 and HIPAA under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. Zoho's responsibility is limited to the extent that it acts as a business associate. Learn about the different 
compliance standards that Zoho follows to make sure that our customers' data is safer than ever.
6. Beta updates
Try out the new Unit conversion method available in Zoho Inventory. This functionality helps you associate multiple units of measurements towards a single item while performing transactions on this item. To enable this feature for your account please send us a request to 
support@zohoinventory.com along with the organization ID of your account.

I have noticed the following: If we have 2 users put an inventory item in edit mode at the same time: say user1 click on edit and user2 while user1 is still in edit, 
- How to get the Dashboard page to be the first page when you open the app- So when it opens on a tablet or phone it opens on the welcome page, thanks. 
- How I set default email addresses for Sales Orders and Invoices- I have customers that have different departments that handle Sales Orders and Invoices. How can i set a default email for Sales Orders that's different than the default email for Invoices? Is there a way I can automate this using the Contact Persons Departments 
- Formula fields not refreshing until page is reloaded- I need help/advice about the formula fields and how I can refresh the information in real-time. We have two formula fields on our deals page which show calculated prices: One formula is in a subform which calculates the subform total + 1 other field amount 
- How can I setup Zoho MCP with Chat GPT- I can set up custom connections with Chat GPT but I cat an error when I try to set it up. The error is: "This MCP server can't be used by ChatGPT to search information because it doesn't implement our specification: search action not found" Thoughts? 
- API ZOHO CRM Picket list with wrong values- I am using Zoho API v.8. with python to create records in a custom module named "Veranstaltung" in this custom module I've got a picket list called "Email_Template" with 28 Values. I've added 8 new values yesterday, but if I try to use on of those values 
- Group Emails- I have synced Zoho CRM to Campaigns but there are certain email not synced. showing it is Group Emails, but this email ids belongs to different individuals. please provide a solution as i nedd to sync the same.
