Groepen worden in Zoho One gebruikt om het gebruikersbeheer te vereenvoudigen. Met groepen kan je app-toegang verlenen aan en beveiligingsbeleid afdwingen voor meerdere gebruikers tegelijk. Daarnaast kun je, als je bijvoorbeeld Zoho Mail hebt toegevoegd, e-mailaliassen aanmaken voor groepen en deze gebruiken voor het verzenden van berichten.
Er zijn twee soorten groepen beschikbaar in Zoho One:
Groep voor samenwerking. Dit zijn flexibele, ad-hoc groepen die kunnen worden gebruikt om aan alle aangepaste, niche-eisen te voldoen. Je kunt bijvoorbeeld een groep maken met alle managers van je organisatie, zodat ze hun documenten kunnen delen en eraan kunnen samenwerken, of je kunt een groep maken met al het personeel van je organisatie op locatie en een IP-beperkte beveiligingsbeleid aan die groep opleggen, of je kunt groeps-e-mailaliassen maken voor teamspecifieke uitzendingen of nieuwsbrieven.
Afdelingen: Sommige apps maken gebruik van een speciaal type groep genaamd Afdeling, waarbij een gebruiker niet lid mag worden van meer dan één Afdeling. Zoho People en Zoho Connect gebruiken bijvoorbeeld het afdelingskenmerk om de hiërarchische structuur van een organisatie na te bootsen. Afdelingen in Zoho One kunnen dienen als een enkel punt van beheer voor alle app-specifieke afdelingen. Het toevoegen van een gebruiker aan een afdeling in Zoho One zal worden weergegeven in alle relevante apps.
Stel, je wilt een finance mobile app beschikbaar stellen op de toestellen van deze gebruikers en voorkomen dat gebruikers deze app weer verwijderen. Je wilt ook dat dit wordt geautomatiseerd telkens wanneer een nieuwe gebruiker aan de groep wordt toegevoegd. Je kunt dit doen door MDM (Mobile Device Management) voor deze groep in te schakelen, een profiel te koppelen (met beperkingen voor het verwijderen van apps) en de vereiste app beschikbaar te stellen aan deze groep.
Door MDM voor een groep in te schakelen, kunt u de apparaten van de gebruikers in die groep gezamenlijk beheren. Wanneer je profielen koppelt aan of apps beschikbaar stelt aan een groep, worden deze gekoppeld/gedistribueerd naar alle apparaten in die groep. Je kunt dit ook gebruiken om het toepassen of verwijderen van profielen en apps op apparaten te automatiseren wanneer een nieuwe gebruiker aan de groep wordt toegevoegd of uit de groep wordt verwijderd.
Om MDM voor een groep in te schakelen:
- Meld u aan bij Zoho One , klik vervolgens op Apparaatbeheer in het linkermenu.
- Ga naar Groepen.
- Klik op de groep waarvoor u MDM wilt inschakelen.
- Klik op Beheren met MDM.
