Ignore HTML when sorting
I have a database of numbers that link to specific pages. Three cells in such a column might read thusly: <a href="http://juiced.gs/index/v1/">1</a> <a href="http://juiced.gs/index/v10/">10</a> <a href="http://juiced.gs/index/v2/">2</a> Is there a way to tell Zoho to ignore the HTML and sort this information numerically?
Importing dates in forms
Hi, I am having some trouble importing date fields in Zoho forms. I set the application preference to MM/dd/yyyy. I have come to realized that Zoho cannot handle a date like 12/2/2011 or 1/31/2012, since it want exactly two digits for the month and date fields, such as 12/02/2011 or 01/31/2012. Unfortunately the application generating my source CSV data does not add zeros in front of single-digit months or date fields. Is there a workaround? Thanks

I've just signed up the free package to evaluate the software. It won't let me set up any applications say that I've reached my limit, which is impossible as I haven't added anything yet! Any ideas where I'm going wrong?

select criteria query
I have a form for a 6 month period, January-June. If a student comes in January, I mark the appropriate dates with a '1'. If the same student is absent all February, for example, I mark the dates with '0'. I set the criteria for all months to read 'display if date columns equal 1'. Of course, it displays the student for January, but I expected it would not display that student in February, however, it does. Is there a way around this ? Thanks for any advice.
Field Actions - On User Input
http://help.creator.zoho.com/Field-Actions.html "The On User input script will not be called if there is no change in the value of the field (i.e if the new value being set is same as the old value." This implies to me that I should be able to make a change to a field On Load and expect that field's On User Input to be called. Through all of my testing I have not been able to make that the case. How can I make On User Input code be called as a result of changing a value in the form On Load?

Sub-forms in sub-forms
Hello, I have 3 forms - Machines, Drawings and Works Orders Works orders has a look-up field to drawings so you can select the drawing number for the order (as well as other fields in the Drawing form). But the Drawing form as a sub-form which links to Machines. This is where information is store for how the part is made and times, etc. Under my view for Works Orders - I can't get it to show up the relavant fields from my Machines form (the sub-form in the Drawings form). problem inserting a field upload into a record

Usable list of values in a single field - is this possible?
Quite new to Zoho so please bear with me, is there a good way to achieve the following? Suppose I have two databases, database 1 is a list of companies and database 2 is a list of projects. Each record in the project database needs to contain some basic info about the project, and a list containing a selection of companies from database 1, with the potential to create project-specific views and reports using this list of companies. Dropdown not loading a list today

Migration tool and Lookup field problems
I'm having problems importing data from Excel into my form using the Zoho Migration tool. I have 2 fields in my Zoho Creator form, called Form1: FieldA is a plain text field which contains names (example: Apple, Banana, Grapes) FieldB is a Lookup field, which is a multiple select list. This looks up a name from Form2 (example: Red,Yellow,Green,Delicious,Disgusting).Visually, this is displayed in the Zoho view as a comma-separated list for that field. Subforms and record counting
Hi, Just a little remark about using subforms. Subform is a very nice feature in ZC and can be used in a lot of situations. It will add a lot of new records in our account and then our limit can be reached very quickly : it needs one record + n records for the "subform-records" : So 100 records multiplied by, say, just 2 subform-records each = 300 records. Without subform, we just need 200 records ... I just wonder if it's really logical to count subform-records as one record ! Cyril
Problem Inserting Record Using XML API when there is a URL field included in the XML.
I am trying to insert a record that has a URL value which is actually a google map address. If I exclude the URL the record insert works fine. But if I incude it fails. Problems updating the field value in my form!
Hi I have problems with my form. If I change the value in the drop-down list and try to update the form nothing happens. It seems to have started in the beginning of last week. This is becomming a bit anoying so any help will be appreciated Any ideas? Dennis

How many simultaneous form entries can happen if we embed the form in our website?
We would be sharing this form with about 20 internal team members and just wondered if we would run into problems if 2 or more people happened to be entering data into the form at the same time. I currently have one form created using the free version... Thank you!
Form does not always clear on entry
I have a form which seems to be working fine and storing information as expected. However I have a small problem in that on submit, the form does not clear, unless all fields were complete...even non required fields. Not sure if it matters but it is embedded in an iframe
Reports on multiple views in Creator
Hi, I have created several views in Creator and they are all linked to each other in some sort of way. I am trying to find the best way to report on them. From what I see, I am only able to report on one view in Creator. Do I need to import/export the data into Zoho DB & Reports in order to be able to generate reports using multiple views. Student Conference Counts
Newbie here... I have a form for student data in which I enter all demographics. I have another form used for each conference we have with a student. In this I record the student name (pulled from the demographics form), date of conference and notes. On the first form, I would like a field that calculates how many total conferences I've had with each particular student. Subform: problem with 'Decision box'
Hi ZC ! we use several 'decision box' fields in a Subform, used to do calculation. Creator believes that all the DecisionBox are checked (true) as they are all unchecked. Select multiple records to send email
Would like to know if there is any possibility to select multiple records from the address diary application that I have created using ZOHO? There are 100's of records in the address diary application along with email ID as a field.
