Employees not Users
Hello, We are a construction company that has +180 employees and most of them are in remote location working onsite with no access to internet. Is it possible that we have data stored for all employees but have only 5-10 users who will be in charge of entering employees data? or do we have to pay for all +180 employees? even though they won't be using the system?
Using People for Non Zoho Users
We are ZOHO ONE Subscribers - All of our corporate staff are a part of ZOHO ONE however, we have outside installers that do not use ZOHO that we would like to be able to put in PEOPLE. Can anyone tell me how to do this without adding them to our ZOHO account? Does the PEOPLE module only work for those within the subscription? Thanks!
What is the "Title" field used for?
When you want to add a new employee there is a field named "Title", what is used for? It's a Radio Button field which I don't think is a good choice for Designation Names (as in job titles), so what is the "Title" field used for? And how can you delete a entry once you added one using the plus sign? Please reply!!!

Pro rata holiday allowance for variable part time employees
We have some part time staff who work variable hours and their holiday allowance is based on pro rata system. In Zoho people is there any way to calculate their holiday allowance based on actual hours worked? I.e. worker is entitled to a pro-rata amount of 5.6 weeks holiday, which is equivalent to 12.07% of hours worked over a year. So part time staff's holiday is accrued at a rate of 12.07% per hour worked. Thanks

Is there anyway to create an In/Out status page based on Check-in/Check-out? Shifts and Schedule on ZOHO PEOPLE
Hello, I am having trouble associating the correct shift and schedule to my employees. Most of them have two different schedules, some even a third. Though, Zoho People only allows me to add the shift based on a date (MM/dd/YY), which becomes a problem since from what I just said. Is there any way to add them based on a day of the week, instead of date? (ie. Monday to Wednesday 09:00 - 17:00 / Thursday and Friday 07:00 to 14:00)
Overtime and Deviation Time carring over the next month
Hi, Our Employees can decide their own to do some Overtime or Deviation time in a month, and they just need balance Overtime or Deviation time in one of the next months. We don't pay Overtime in the end of the month and we don't reduce their salary in case of Deviation time, because the Employees have to balance in their own behaviour to be in the range of expected hours again within the upcoming months. At the moment, it looks that this is not possible in People, to carry over the amount of Overtime

Is it possible to assign a tablet (ios/android) so that all employees can check in or out using a simple QR code? If not would it be possible to integrate attendance with a web app that also has a tablet app that works in kiosk mode? If yes can anyone recommend such an app?

Hello, Is there a way to see overtime/deviation time when hours are worked over 40 hours in a week? Right now, Zoho People shows overtime/deviation time for hours worked over per day (due to the expected hours limit). How to edit a timelog after timesheet rejection?
Hi, An employee has submitted a timesheet which contained an error in one of the timelogs. The manager has rejected the timesheet and asked the employee to fix the error. When the employee tries to modify the timelog to fix the problem Zoho says the timelog can not be edited because the manager rejected it. How can the employee edit a timely which was part of a rejected timesheet? Surely this is possible or are we using the system incorrectly? Thanks for any input on this. Paul

We were using Xero with their payroll. Our CRM integrates with Books and Books with Xero so we get our invoices copied from CRM (really Books) to Xero. We always have looking to let go Xero and stay ONLY with Books, "payroll" is the feature stopping us from doing it. Now Xero is canceling their payroll feature and inviting all to move to Gusto. We need payroll in New York, New Jersey, Georgia and Florida. We are actually moving to Gusto and have an eye on Squareup Payroll which is 1/2 the Gusto price.

Simple Time Clock...?
Is there a simple time clock is available? We would like our employee's to be able to clock in and out, as simply and easily as possible. We don't have projects or anything like that. Check-in and out - Any way to exclude certain users?
At the present time, we only want to use the attendance features to track hours for a few hourly employees, and to track vacation time. We do not want to have our salaried employees have to check in and out. However, if they do not, then our reports are filled with a bunch of absents. To resolve this problem, is there any way to (a) exclude certain users from the check-in and out features, or (b) make certain shifts or users default to "present" unless they have entered leave? Some other workaround?

Can we have a Diversity dashboard or report, allowing us to track and report on gender and ethnicity percentages at different grade levels for those organisations that want to be transparent and promote gender diversity in the workplace?
