Tip #50- A Closer Look at the Unattended Access Dashboard- 'Insider Insights'

Having complete visibility and quick access to everything you need certainly makes managing multiple remote devices a lot easier, and that is precisely what the Unattended Access Dashboard in Zoho Assist is designed to offer. Once you go to the Unattended Access section from the top menu and then select Devices from the left panel, you'll be able to see a well-organized view of all your configured devices along with their current status and essential details.

The device list provides the ability to filter based on Groups or All Groups, and you can then further narrow this down based on operating systems such as Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, ChromeOS, and iOS. You can also view online and offline filters to identify in one glance which devices are online right now. On the right-hand side of the screen, it gives a quick summary of the total number of configured devices along with their online/offline status so that it can be very easy to understand your overall environment at one glance.

Each device tile presents useful information that includes display name, IP address, platform, active user, and last online timestamp. You will also find useful shortcut actions next to each device name, where you can add notes or mark a device as a favourite for quick access. The system will automatically track devices you accessed recently under the Recent section, so you don’t have to manually search for them repeatedly. Furthermore, the Favourites section saves time for technicians who regularly connect to certain machines by allowing instant access to them in just one click.

The dashboard also supports power management options for each device, which makes it convenient to perform actions like shutdown, restart, or other control functionalities remotely. To save the technician's time in getting what they are looking for, there is an inbuilt search bar that allows searching by device name or active user, hence eliminating any need to scroll or browse through long lists.

Overall, the Unattended Access Dashboard is designed with a clean, intuitive, and structured workspace to help technicians manage remote assets efficiently. If you require any assistance in setting this up or have any questions regarding its features, please do not hesitate to contact us at support@zohoassist.com , as our team is always glad to help!
