How does it work for your customers?
Once you've configured Auto-Translation, the bot automatically determines which language to use based on the visitor's first message.
- The bot automatically detects the visitor's language:
When a visitor starts a conversation, the bot detects the language of their first message. If the language is supported, the bot continues the conversation in the same language. - Use the default language when needed:
If the visitor's language isn't among the supported languages, the bot uses the default language you've configured.
For example: If your bot supports English, French, and German, with English set as the default language, a visitor who starts the conversation in French will interact with the bot in French. If another visitor starts in Spanish, (which is not one of the supported) the bot will use English, the default language.
Note: Bot auto-translation is available in the Professional and Enterprise plans.
