Playback and Management Enhancements for Zoho Quartz Recordings

Hello Zoho Team,

We hope you're all doing well.

We would like to submit a feature request related to Zoho Quartz, the tool used to record and share browser sessions with Zoho Support.

🎯 Current Functionality
As of now, Zoho Quartz allows users to record issues directly from the browser, capturing video along with essential developer tools data like the Console, Network, and Performance tabs. This greatly helps Zoho Support in diagnosing issues quickly and accurately.

After submitting a recording, users can access their submissions through the Zoho Quartz personal portal to view the video and status of the submission.

🆕 Feature Requests
We suggest the following improvements to enhance the user experience when working with Quartz recordings:

  1. Video Playback Speed Control

    • Allow viewers to change the playback speed (e.g., 0.5×, 1.25×, 1.5×, 2× and even 3×), similar to what’s available in platforms like YouTube etc.

    • This will help in reviewing recordings more efficiently, especially when reviewing and debugging long sessions.

  2. Download Option

    • Enable the ability to download the recording from the Quartz portal.

    • This would allow teams to archive or share recordings internally for further analysis or documentation.

  3. Delete Option

    • Provide users with the ability to delete previously submitted recordings from their Quartz portal, if they are no longer needed.

These enhancements would significantly improve usability for both support teams and end users.
