On User Input error, evaluating STRING
I have a subform that has on user input coding that is supposed to auto fill the a majority of the form. When I use the form on its on it works perfectly. When I use it through the main form the sub-form gives this error. I understand where the error is occurring I'm just not sure what is wrong with it. Especially when it works find on the main page.
Sharing of a subform
I am using the new style subform which does not require a separate form. One of the fields in the subform is a file upload field. On the view of the form I show some fields from the subform as a hyperlink. When the user clicks a window pops up showing all the fields from the subform including the file upload field. When clicking on the upload field they are asked for a zoho login ID as if they do not have access rights to the field. Since there is no separate form how do I change the rights for the
New App Builder: discussion/feedback?
I haven't used Zoho Creator in the last 2 months. I have recently found the "New App Builder". How are people finding it? What are the pros/cons? I'm used to the old builder and don't want to switch to the new app builder if there are problems/bugs.

Hi Zoho Team, It seems like many things working on old UI now are working different or not working as expected in the new dev app builder. For example I'm using a mail subject string + an inpunt field and Zoho shows when email arrive the following: Solicitud de Dia por Examen del Empleado:282109000002355476 The number 282109000002355476 should be displayed as the Consultant Name. Need method to show relationship between different records in the same form.
I have a contacts form with multiple subforms with in it. I need to show that any one record could be related to several other records in the same form ( One to many relationship between multiple records in the same table) The method I attempted was to create a relationships table with a lookup pointing to the contacts form. I then placed this relationship form as a subform in the contacts table. The view displays properly and seems to work however the contacts form crashes with the unable to

Hi, I'm working on an app in my account and have regularly been 'republishing' it to my client's account. The problem is, it doesn't seem to republish correctly. Google Apps User field select list displays no users
1.Creating a new creator app/form. 2. Drag Gapp fields to form and select user name and another with ID 3. Run application, no users or ids show in the select list? Looks like creator can not get to the google users? Is there something i missed in the configuration?
Stateless forms single table
I have a form I am creating and it no longer let's me add fields as I think I have reached the limit. My thought then was to create two stateless forms that update a single table upon submission. How do I link two stateless forms to a single table and submit the data? I've also noticed that my stateless form is continuing to allow me to add fields past the limit on the regular form. Should I use a single stateless form and then have it update to a single table? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Show which columns are being sorted.
Using a View in Creator, you cannot tell which column(s) are being sorted. Add small (maybe colored), up/down arrows above the field name to indicate: That it is sorted Which direction it is sorted What level in the sort order (add more arrows horizontally to indicate the sort level) And add a 'Clear All Sort Fields' button, just like you can clear all search filters.

Error with Drop Down selections - form fails to write to Database
Hi, We have an error occurring that is to do with drop down selections in forms. 48 hours ago we believe someone in zoho changed some generic settings on the forms. When "Allow Other Options" is now selected for a drop-down the form fails and does not allow the data to be written back to the database. App works from "Access this Application" button but not from the Dashboard
I am the developer of an App, when I use the Access the Application button at the top of the edit app screens my app works as expected. When I access it from the shared app dashboard it does not. Normal users (i.e not developer) are also seeing the same problem, but Admin is not. The application has been being used regularly without issue, no changes to the app have been made recently, the issue seems to have arrived at the same time the new Creator was put live. Hello, I'm working on an application that has a barcode component. I have an HTML view to generate the barcode image from a third party app, and I can print it, but when I embed the HTML view in a page with a form the Print Button Prints the whole page rather than just the barcode. Can I configure the Print Button to only print the Ifame it is in rather that the whole screen? Maybe a custom action?
Pushing Data from Creator to CRM Problem
Has Creator changed when pushing data from it to Zoho CRM. Multiple applications or 1 big application?
Hello, Rightly or wrongly; I have developed a few applications which combined make a nice suite for us to use at work. I'm not sure if I should have built it as 1 large application rather than 6 small ones. Can someone tell me if there are any restrictions / limitations on doing this? I can access data from each application using the Look-Up field - but can I access data when I want to create a Page which will display data from all different applications? Pull Specific Field from other Form in Lookup
Quick background - I'm creating a project management system and have multiple form for different sub departments. One of the departments need to be able to calculate a project cost. To do this I have a lookup field (on FORM A) to select the product used in this project (FORM B). What I need to do is pull the price field for Form B and set it to a variable in Form A so I can out that into a formula. Signups and Password Recovery for Front Facing Apps
Greetings all: Does anyone know if there is a help page/work around for allowing signups and password recovery for front facing apps developed in Creator that: a) at no point shows the zoho logo or involves any screens that contain zoho info (account confirmation page, etc.) b) allows you to specify a different confirmation email so that again, the zoho info doesn't show up... Can't save from form Definition
I needed the exact same fields on two different forms. I went to the definition of the first form and copied the field information to the definition of the second form. When I saved I got this error. Error modifying the page null On similar occasions it has saved correctly. Are some field type not allowed? Is the error indicating some other problem?
500 internal error
basically I use zoho creator & try to use API data write but after follow the instruction as per zoho instruction, when code try to the connect the zoho server that time server ( Or Code?) give the response 500 internal error. please give resolution for this problem.

Why would it be that, as an Admin, I can view this: https://creator.zoho.com/zoho_admin58/obm-system/#Form:Contracts?reclinkID=1526298000000741045&viewLinkName=Contracts_List (which allows me to edit record, and shows all the Zoho headers), but I get an error message with this URL https://creator.zoho.com/zoho_admin58/obm-system/Contracts/record-edit/Contracts_List/1526298000000741045 The message is "You are not authorized to edit this record." Field Value validation
Hi, I have a form where users enter in a unique coupon code to enter a competition. At the moment the only validation is that the length matches, so a user can enter any X digit number and it will work. I need to be able to compare the entered field value with the unique coupon codes and if there is no match the form doesn't submit.. Any pointers? Thanks
