Auto Populate of Fields isnt working correctly
I have an application that has all of the club information in it (club number, member number, member info etc.) It has multiple clubs in it and within those clubs it has multiple member number. There are member numbers that are the same within seperate clubs. For example I could have club 0259 and member 7 but also club 0176 has a member 7. What I am wanting to do is on a display_20_scores stateless form I have then choosing the club number from a dropdown, then I have them choosing a member
formula function
I have a calculated field which needs an input from one of 3 formulas. Every time I input date into this field, I need to pick one of the 3 formulas. Do I need to hire a programmer to implement this?
View Link to related table wont stay disabled
If a Link to a related table is enabled for a view in the Column Properties section and then disabled it does not stay disabled. When I go back to the column properties the link will be enabled. It can easily be disabled again. The problem is that I may be in the section to make some other change and not notice that it is enable. I have tested this with two different applcations. Getting the ID of a subform entry in the same manner as an ID is returned by Insert Record
Hi When you create a record using insert Record you an get the ID back as a variable So when you create an entry or entries in a Subform any way to get the ID back in the same or similar fashion ? Thanks
update multiple rows with fetch
Hi All, I have a form 'Stock' with 2 rows of data 'A' and 'B' for different quality of same stock. Another input form will have values that I want to add to both rows on submit. by add i mean if row A stock has a column with 10 and the input for that column is 10, then the new value will be 20 in the stock form. I've got fetch working for one row A, but would like to know how to perform fetch and update for both on same submit? Should I perform a second fetch? Thx, Rob
Search ID by contains
Would be helpful if you can search the ID by contains, it is such a long number that typing it in complete for "is" is prone to errors i end up making a string version of it and storing it but for every form it gets tiring
How do you export a report as a PDF with the filters intact?
Hello, I want my users to be able to export reports to CSV, XLS, or PDF. I see that currently only PDF is supported. However, even this functionality is severed limited if the PDF doesn't preserve the filters that the user has set. Is there a way to work around this issue? Or is this already possible and I'm just missing it? And/or can this be added as a feature? Regards, - Kevin

Update record in another application dropdown box
Dear Sirs, I am currently working on Zoho Creator to set-up a database for product samples. I have 2 app. Both with only one form and one view. The first app is to create new samples from a form (Create_Sample) or view/modify/delete them from a view (View/Modify_Sample) Sometimes, we need to pack several samples in one box (to send them to another place for example) So I have a second app in order to create a new box from a form (Create_Box) or view/modify/delete these boxes from a view (View/Modify_Box).
Inserting table field in a form
Zoho Creator has various basic fields to drag and drop onto the form, but I have found no way to insert a simple table into a form. I hope to create a table with two columns and five rows. Under the first column will be a list of car brands (Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Nissan, and Honda). Under the second column will be five cells for the user to input the number of each brand sold during the month. Is this possible in Zoho? Thanks for your help!
Reports and Views jpg.
I wish Zoho Creator could send views as jpg. and also reports as jpg. why is that not supported and also it would be great if the view would be exported the same way that it is displayed . It lets You set the display tab but when the view is exported or sent as attachment it doesn't come the same way.
Problem with Custom Filters in embed view
Hi, I have created an app (with a free plan) using Custom Filters in some views. It runs propertly accessing the App throught Zoho Creator, but It doesn't in embed code. Selecting the filter the view's update delays forever and does not show results. Anyone knows why? Is there any solution? Thanks, Jordi

Can you pass a parameter into an HTML page (with an embedded view)? I would like to search my database for a specific record and then display my HTML page with the embedded view, (I dont want to write the HTML code if possible as the embedded view is all that I need. Any examples much appreciated.
Subtotaling Multiple Records from a different DB
In Zoho Creator, I have a Project DB with each project having a unique ID. I have another DB for Price Estimates of various elements of a given project-- each estimate is entered separately as a record in the Price Estimate DB with a Project ID pulled from the Project DB. So, in the Estimate DB I have several records with the same Project ID. How can I have the SUBTOTAL of all the Estimate records with the same Project ID appear in a field in the Project DB? Header option in HTML view
Hi, I've created and HTML view which includes an image. In the HTML view I have the print and pdf options = true. When I click on the print option in live mode the image is displayed with the rest of the data, but when I choose pdf the image doesn't render. Any ideas?
lookup fields with autopopulate
I have a database that has Club Numbers along with the members in each club. What I am trying to do is when they choose the Club Number from a drop down it then goes to the member number field and I can choose the member number associated with that certain club and then it autopopulates the rest of the information in that member record( for example their 20 scores on file). Initiating many records - HELP
UPDATE::: I seemed to have found the issue, but it bring up another issue. First off, what i thought was a limit on the number of records that i was able to initiate at a single time, was wrong. The problem was in the special charters that existed in the zoho reports database such as [ & , - \ () ]... After I manually removed them, the record initiation worked as it should... Now my next issue is how do i get it so it will except the special charters listed above? ------------------------------------------------
Relationships between applications?
I am using the free version and have created three applications - inventory, orders, and customers. I have tried using lookup fields to automate the orders form (bringing in data from products and customers), but cannot seem to get access to more than the single field I choose in the lookup field. Creating formula fields, or criteria in other types of fields, in the orders form does not see have a way to access other fields in the Products or Customer applications, except the single field chosen
INserting (fetching) email via API
Hello, Is it possible to insert (upload) and email via the CRM API? That should of course include the ability to define which object to "associate" the email with, and all the relevant email fields (Subject, From, To, CC etc) with the body (in HTML or free text). Script Builder view truncated - no scroll bar
When I go to write script in Script Builder the right hand side of the screen is truncated slightly. The scroll bar is missing, as is the right side of the SAVE SCRIPT button. The result is that I cannot scroll, and so it is very slow to move around long scripts, which is a nuisance. If I switch to Free Flow Scripting the view is fine. Any suggestions? Is it a problem with the browser, or is it at the Zoho end? (I use Internet Explorer)
Desperately seeking assistance
I'm working very hard to make Zoho Creator work for me. I must be very dumb, but things just aren't working out. I am a volunteer book review editor, and I need to maintain a database of which reviewers have which books. There are some date calculations, easily done in a spreadsheet (I've been maintaining the list in Google Docs), but a database would just work better for me -- reports, etc. Is there someone out there who will volunteer to write the field specs for the calculated fields? Using Record ID to fetch data - Is there an issue?
I am trying to fetch data from a table using the record ID. Is there a problem with this? The script below is On Load script in a form.. The first 2 lines successfully find the record number from a form and populate the Record_ID field. The last 2 lines are supposed to use the record ID to fetch the customer name (CustName) but Test_Field remains blank. I have checked that the Record_ID is valid. Edit records using stateless form - Do I need a regular form to pass data?
I am struggling to find a way to upload the data from a table to a stateless form without creating a new regular form to pass the data. Is there a simpler way to persist the data? This is what I planned to do: I would use a 'Custom Action' that is selected from the dropdown against the record to edit. This calls a function to which I can pass the record data through the arguement to the function. Then I want to use the existing data to populate the Stateless form, but I can't see how to do this
Creator API Error 2832: [application owner] parameter is not available in the request
I have a PUBLIC form and I am trying to add data to it via the Creator API. Since the form is public, my call to the API is unauthenticated so I am passing in the zc_ownername in the call parameters. Yet, I keep getting the 2832: [application owner] parameter is not available in the request error in the response. BTW, I am passing in the authtoken and scope parameters in the call. Zoho iCal feed
Okay I want to create an iCal feed to the zoho calendar. I have been able to create it, but I have a couple questions about ways to use it. My first question is whether or not it is possible to feed multiple fields into one handle. For instance if I have Customer_name, Job_Type and Sales_Person and I want them all to go into the DESCRIPTION= part of the iCal url. Then on top of that is there anyway to seperate those by newlines when they go into the Description. This is really all about changing

View design
In embedded a view in an html view (div tag). This works fine but two things are very ugly and probably a bug. 1. When I mouseover the edit button of a record (no dropdown as everything else is disabled) it turns black. The attached printscreen did not capture the mouse pointer itself, but it is right over the black box. 2. predefined path in URL export of CSV
I have a form in which on submit i export a CSV file containing all the data for that entry, which is driven by the URL. Problem with the Dropdown Show choices in alphabetical order
Hello, I am having a problem (may be a bug), where I have created a dropdown that onLoad gets all the account names from the CRM, I have checked off the checkbox that says "Show choices in alphabetical order", but it is not alphabetizing them.
