Filtering an HTML view by Country and State without making hundreds of pages with iframes?
I have a form that collects country and state service area information from groups via 2 multiselect fields. They are multiselect because groups can provide services to one or more states or even countries. This information will be accessible to the public to find groups nearest to them. I need a way to display the data once the user selects the criteria. They will select their region, then their country, then if in the US or Canada, their state/province. This will take them to an HTML view

I am creating my first Creator database for a customer. My customer has 6 employees and needs them to have different access levels to the data. Is it possible to create roles or profiles or field-level security for a Creator database like with ZohoCRM? I am currently a free basic user. Thanks -- DJ
Sum Form to display another Form
I have two Forms - in one, the User inputs Daily Sales, Labor, and other figures. In the other form, the User inputs Supply ordersm broken down by Food, Paper, etc. User can input more than one Supply Order a day. I want a View that shows me the Daily Sales, Labor, and Total Supply Amounts for that day. How do I sum the Supply Amounts and add that to the Daily Sales Form? Thanks, Kim
Use of empy field condition
I have generate 2 forms (1) Form-1 : 3 fields (2) Stateless form Data will be entered in stateless form. Total 6 fields generated in stateless form. A customized button also generated. A deluge script attached with this button (On click). Zoho newbie. No scripting experience. And now my questions: How do I create my app such that completion of formA directs the user to either formB, formC, ... formN based on inputs on formA? How to add multiple data in one form?
I need to create a simple application that has the following information: (it's a letters database) The user create a new "Received letter". He chooses from a list of senders, just ONE name. Then he chooses date, subject, etc. And he chooses, from the same list of senders, the "RECIPIENTS", that could be MORE than one. How to associate more than one recipients in just one form? If I use Multi-Select box, I cannot search for a name (have more than 20.000 names in a list). Suggestions?
Update field value in another form
Help with syntax please. I have a form [tasks] that records tasks and links them to the Jobs form [jobs] using a job number. I've created script in the Task form that counts the number of active tasks against a job number and assigns the value to a variable called active_task_count. Invalid email address when updating form and sending mail
I have an app that sends an email when a form is submitted and edited. The email address is provided by the user when they submit their info. When they submit their info, no error is given and the email is sent just fine. However, when they edit the form and re-submit, an error is given about an "Invalid email address". The specific email address is in the form: fname.lname@gmail.com It seems to be the . (dot) that is causing the problems.

I am a new developer creating my first database. I have not found any step-by-step tutorials on Creator so I'm glad to find this forum. I am a big fan of the CRM app. It meets almost all my needs. number of lookups depending on another dropbox
I have a max number of students in a class, and it all depends on how it is set by the tutor. The number can range from 1 - 10, however, because if the number is only 4, then i want only 4 lookups to be added(or enabled, if not possible to make the rest disappear) The lookups are used to look for student names and add it to the class. Empty upload field is no longer empty after record duplication
I check whether or not an upload field in my form is empty with the following code: if ((searchProfile.File_Upload != null) && (searchProfile.File_Upload != "")) This works fine if I created the record from scratch. If I duplicate a record with an empty upload field in it, the code above no longer works. Checking if the field is empty with searchProfile.File_Upload.isEmpty() is not supported. Adding the code input.File_Upload = "" in the On Add / On Load event does not work either. Please advise.
My app is non-responsive to edits
I'm trying to edit one of my forms, and I can't add or delete some of the field types. When I try to add a field it hangs at "Please wait" and doesn't do anything. If I try to delete a field, it vanishes, but if I reload the form it is still there. This is the case with several of the field types. Reports- User Filter by Weekday
I am trying to create a report to show Usage trends. The Form I have allows the User to input the Date and Shift, and then the Quantity for each Product. Can a public app use another app's records for lookup fields?
If I sell an app in the Marketplace, is it a good design to have it use another database app to manage the lookup fields that is not purchased? Can this be done? For instance, I have an app with lookup fields. The user cannot add to or access these records directly- only through the lookup field. Multiline appointment in calendar view?

Allowing edit of a record without login?
Is there a way to allow someone to edit a record without logging into ZOHO Creator? I have a form that emails users in a list when a record is added. Once they get the email, there is a link where they can respond Yes or No. If they choose Yes, then a hidden field is supposed to change to Yes as well. Public Access vs Private Access
If I begin my form with public access and my visitors do not create an account, can I go back after the fact and make the form private and force my visitors to create an account to have access to the information? If I make them create an account, can they access information that they have entered previously when the form was public? Thank you.
Time picker?
On the forms page, there is a drag and drop element for Date-Time. However, if I only need and want the user to be able to select a time, how would I be able to do this? The Date-Time picker seems to have such a large focus on the date controls and doesn't have large enough controls for the time picker. Corrupt Script Hanging - Will Not Load
In my "Admin System" application, my form "Task_Attachments" on-edit:on-success script has become corrupt and will not load. I am unable to load the script builder OR the free-flow script in order to correct the issue. 1) can you please go into my application and delete the "on-edit:on-success" action script for the "Task_Attachments" form. I have created an 'Instructions' page as a HTML View. I see it on the PC version of my app, but it doesnt show up in the iPhone via http://mobile.zoho.com/creator.
