Hello, When associating a document with a task, one is given a quite small window in which to choose the files - and our file names are quite long, which means I can't see which file I'm associating. There is a lot of space to the right in which to expand, however:

Tip 11: Is there a way to be reminded about the pending task
Obviously users can be reminded about their pending tasks & milestones with the help of Email my home page either Daily, Weekly or Monthly. Project Import
It would be really neat if Zoho Project could import a project timeline from excel or Zoho sheet. I would like to be able to take a Microsoft Project export it to excel, put it in to a simplified template and upload to zoho project. mscrimshire
Unsuccessful file upload due to file size error
I am trying to upload a 12MB PDF file (Mac OS 10.7.2), and I keep getting an error that the file size limit is 125MB. I tried both from Safari (5.1.2) and Firefox (9.0.1) with the same results. Thanks.
Too many e-mail going out on Individual projects
We have all of our projects in one portal which works very well because you don't have to go looking across portals to find out what project are what tasks you have outstanding. But the problem is when you create a new project everyone gets alerted and gets all the e-mails associated with this project even when not involved and it seems to be because they are members of the portal. Is there anyway or any setting available so that only the people involved in a project get notification of that project

Upload Docs via email: to a particular folder
Hello, Currently when uploading a doc via email attachment, it automatically goes into the "Discussion" folder (which I'd like to be able to rename, btw).. It would be handy if there were a way to send it to a particular folder - perhaps from the subject line, or another part of the email address (portalname_projectalias_specificfolder@documents.zohoprojects.com) or in the message body. thanks! happy holidays, clark
Is there a way to assign tasks to categories?
for example, I want to be able to sort not just by task/project, but by types of tasks within a particular project without having to create a separate task list to simulate a new category.
Format of Notes in Timesheet entry
Hello I am trying to import timesheets from an existing program. I've been using: http://www.zoho.com/projects/developers/timesheet-api.html#2 I have a working example with a simple lognotes field. Something like: "Here is a note" works. What doesn't work is something more complicated like: -Here is a note ~some more stuff [blah] blah blah blah ~notes notes notes -notes notes notes The above returns a 500 server error after request. Can anybody use Google apps users integration succesfully now?
I have a problem with importing users from Google apps (Zoho projects Premium edition). There is no link for import in my account. Just now I have setup a test google apps domain and added Zoho projects through marketplace. There is no option to import user as well. It should look like in attach. Can anyone import users now?

Idea - upload documents from email with comments
Currently, when uploading documents via email - if there is other text in the email message, it is parsed out to a separate document, like an HTM file. To my mind, what would be more handy would be if there is other text in the message, if that text became a comment on the document, rather than a separate file. So I could compose an email (comment) and attach a document, and send it to the project, and the result would be an uploaded document along with a comment - rather than 2 separate files. '

Upload a document via email - broken
Hi, I've been experimenting with forwarding emails with attachments to the project email alias (<portal>_<projectstring> @document.zohoprojects.com) and they keep getting returned, saing there were no valid attachments found in the mail. I'm sending from Mail on the Mac (OS Lion) and the attachment was a 15k JPEG image. This seems like it should be a no-brainer, but it is not working... Any tips? thanks, clark
Want to be able to have external contractors work on "bugs"
We have multiple projects each which may have an outside contractor handling simple things such as user password issues etc. We'd like to run all of this through Zoho, but don't want those contractors to have access to see larger issues we are tracking against those projects. We'd really like to be able to map such issues so that we can see them in Zoho and they just go out as an email to our "contractor". Can this be done with the current Bug Tracker product?
Unzip Document archives
I saw somewhere (https://help.zoho.com/portal/en/community/topic/batch-uploading-of-documents) that in another Zoho product it's possible to unzip a ZIP file archive and see the contents within. It would be really cool if in Zoho Projects, one could upload a ZIP file, then have the option once uploaded to "unzip" it to see the files within, download an individual file, etc...
Create a task in Zoho Projects from GMail not working properly
Hi, I have noticed that when I click New Task in the GMail add-on, it no longer creates any link to the actual email itself. It just creates a new task that I can edit and change details. The task is created in Projects but without any obvious link to the original email that created it. I'm sure this didn't used to be the case. Has something changed? Many thanks.
Cross Reference Feilds from one form to another?
Hi, Is is possible that if i have a feild on One form - and i can get "one single" data value into other form. e.g On form1 i have "total budget" = 22 and I want it to automatically show in form2. I have another question: can I auto calculate form1:total-budget = 22 in form2? Thanks, Developer9211

Download Multiple Documents and Edit File Description/Tags
Would be great in the Documents tab to be able to check several documents and download the checked ones in one fell swoop. Also, it would be great if there were a way to edit the "File Description" and/or tags without having to upload another version. Thanks! clark

Ok if I have a task template with 10 things in it and I want to add one more task I have to start over and create a new template?
Rapid fire add tasks
Currently, the tasks pop up rapidly, but you still have to click on "add task" every time you add one instead of being able to hit return, or shift-return or some hot key combo that would add the task from your keyboard and bring up a new window to add another. It would be great if this could be done from the keyboard and not the mouse click. thanks, clark

Dashboard Task Note Bug

Bug Tracker
I have a question about Bug Tracker. We have the need to track bugs on a number of different websites. Many of these sites are managed by paid admins whom we would like to handle basic issues such as username/password issues. Is there any way within Bug Tracker to push "bugs"/issues such as these out to separate emails without giving these people visibility to the other technical issues that we might be tracking against these sites?

Time Reporting Expansion
I would like to inquire if there are plans to enhance the reporting within Timesheets. We would like to be able to report on time by the overall project, milestones, or task lists from the User Interface. Is this currently available somewhere within Zoho Projects or, if not, is it something that can be enhanced? Thank you
Different languages for users
Hello, Do you plan to enable individual users to select their languages for interface? Currently language can be changed for everyone - it looks like a settings for a whole portal, which is not good when you are working internationally. Best regards, Pavel.
Groups - for status filtering
It would be cool if I could set up GROUPS of users - and then filter tasks/milestones, etc. by groups. For example, we have a small group of web developers, tech writers, instructional designers, illustrators, etc... If I could set up groups - as a manager, I could more easily track tasks/milestones across my own group, perhaps assign tasks/milestones to a group - and then let individuals self-assign from there, etc... The groups function could also be involved with what shows up on the dashboard
BUG: Due Date should be constrained by milestone
Hi When a task is a member of a milestone or milestone task-list, it's due date should be constrained by the due date of the milestone.
BUG:Unable to unassign task from all task lists
Hi Once a task has been assigned to a tasklist, it is not possible to move it anywhere but another task list. This is counter intuitive from a task "back-log" concept, where a task could be returned to the pool for actioning at a later date. thanks
