Hi there. this may have been brought up before, but it would be really useful to have a notify function when adding notes to a task. This function would ideally allow you to tell anyone involved in the project about your note addition. Is this something that is on the roadmap? netinsight

While progress is always great, it's dissapointing to see you pushing ahead with creating a new version of a product that doesn't meet basic existing needs. With issues like tag's not being searchable properly and being able to assign other users with permissions/roles like Admin to use certain features, Zoho Projects is NOT ready for a 2.0 jump yet. Fix what is currently not functioning at LEAST before you move to a new version. Or at least include those broken/needed features in your new one! Thanks,

Calendar challenge
I have entered several tasks to be completed within my project via tasks and milestone. After assigning the user, start and completion dates, the task displays on every date in the Calendar view, between the start and completion date. Example: New task= create bylaws, Start May 15th completion July 15th. after submission this task shows up on every day in the calendar between May 15th and July 15th. What did I do wrong?

I understand that You can classify your project members based on their roles - Administrators, Managers, Employees, Contractors & Clients. Each role has pre-defined access privileges. However my only choices seem to be Managers, Employees, and Contractors. What am I doing wrong? Help!
Altering Calendar Settings
To whom it may concern, When I assign tasks, they are extended over the weekend. This is not an accurate refelction of the workweek and the time spent on the task. I would like to be able to assign tasks and have them span over a normal work week i.e. not including the weekends/holidays, similar to options available in Microsoft Project Schedule. Great app... but I am looking for a broader project management solution!
First, a project is more than tasks and milestones. You have done a tremendous job for this part I must admit. So, here is what I would like to be able to do. 1- Generate a high-level weekly report without re-entering data in another file. Use the task list and associated tags to create a simple weekly report in PDF or as a presentation document. 2- There should be a better way to document the "gates". If we take the Stage-Gate (phases and gates) approach, then your tool is only useful
Better timesheet reports?
Hi, love Zoho, and I know things evolve for sure... What would be good (unless I am missing something) is to show the timesheet report per task (not milestone necessarily). We add time to a task, and it would be great to get a simple total of time for a specific task/sub-tasks.. David Sheardown

All the products I have looked at eg Presentation, word processing, spreadsheet bear some relationship with Ms apps or Google docs but I was a little disapointed with the project planning tool expecting something more like MS project

I have updated my profile through "settings" and have successfully uploaded a photo in the 120x120 pixel format requested. File size is 43Kb. The correct photo appears her next to this post but does not appear in the user box on either my home page or the home project page. On Tuesday night after one attempt it appeared briefly in the user box on the project page but, within 20 minutes had reverted to the default user placeholder image. Is there a linking problem within the site?

In a project when I want to add a document, I can do this by either creating a new doc or by uploading a doc from the desktop. I am not able to add a file which may be there in the docs of Zoho. digramu
Products to Customer Reporting
Hi, I've been playing around for a little while with the custome report section of zoho crm and I can't seem to create a report which will show me what products are under our customers. I'd like to be able to see who the stock items have been allocated to, would this be done using the sales order functionality as well?
