Due Dates
Our management wants a system that has due dates. All of the systems we've tested lack this feature. Is there a project management philosophy that this violates? That's the main thing holding us back from using Zoho for our company. mitchmaddox
Visibility of notes all time and when they are completed
Hi, First, congrats for the great job. Now, the bugs: - When the notes are to big I can't see they without opening the view, because when I scroll down the notes disappear. - When task are closed, notes can't be in open mode, so when it is to big to the screen, I can't read in anyway. - When you write an link or something that is "alltogether" the note lost the background, because the width is fixed, but the link is bigger than it. User cannot login from UK
This morning my colleague in the UK was not able to log on to zoho projects. While on the phone with her, I was able to log on for her here in the US. I can't think of anything else that could affect login? She had been able to log on in the past from the UK. Please help. Thanks.
TIme frame for adding "dependencies" for tasks/mile stones

The spreadsheet awesome is INCREDIBLE. Absolutely incredible, and an awesome key feature. My team was considering moving to another software, mostly due to the bad forums, but with this added feature it will be nigh impossible to move on! Great job! Please keep up the good work! webmaster

Tasks - add a due
Please allow tasks to have a 'due date' function in addition to the existing 'start date' functionality. Please also allow tasks to be checked off as completed prior to the actual start date (this happens in projects). simon

At the moment we use the Forum option to write link lists, eg links related to a project. But wouldn't it make more sense to have a specific link list/bookmark feature? michel

Projects and Clients
The "clients" concept is actually quite important in project management, but the way it is implemented here seems like an afterthought, and is unnecessarily confusing: a). it's not documented or explained anywhere that I can find; b). it's buried under 'settings,' where I discovered it by accident; c). More colours for notes icon
Notes for tasks are great. :-) We use them to write/explain details for a task. But we would also like to use them to allow the owner of the task to report back about problems etc. Or to add comments on completion (eg about problems he had, why task took longer than expected etc.) Of course he can do that already now. But it would be nice to have different colours for the notes - or maybe even more than just one note icon for a task that allow us to easily see, where such special "report back" notes
Dependencies between tasks
We have read, that you will soon allow sub tasks - that is great. But how about other dependencies? Eg between tasks of different task lists or milestones. Or tasks within the same task list, but not being sub tasks. michel

Enhancement Request - Timesheet Calendar View
When the user is doing time sheet entry, it would be useful if the task list name displayed above the task. This is because I have multiple task lists with the same set of tasks, so when I pull up the timesheet entry it shows me: Train Client Train Client Train Client on separate lines. I'm noticing the Reports section doesn't display the status of all tasks and milestones. I can't figure out how it actually chooses which ones to display either. Perhaps I am misusing the software, or don't understand how this goes, or it is not working properly. webmaster

During Creating New Forum Post
During Creating New Forum Post ... The Notify to user section contains user list. Each entry in the user list is selected by click of a mouse which is both normal and expected. But to deselect I can't just click again ! This denial of "deselection" is probably normal but not expected. The selection/deselection should be a togling with the click of a mouse. Right now only way to deselect a user from the list is by clicking while pressing control key. Samyak samyak.bhuta
Dashboard Layout
I think Dashboard can be better laid out. Infact some ( like me ) would like to have "Latest Project Activity" on top or after second after the week view. I guess individual section can be made collapsible or probably as accordian. Also they can be reordered by drag drop ( the way it is done in task reorder ) why not ? they are all divs right ? And what about having it two column ? Suggestions may be my random thought, but bottom line is the Dashboard layout lacks something to make it really suffice

Writer not reflecting updates to document
1. I uploaded a Word doc. 2. From the Documents tab I click on the "Open in Zoho Writer" icon 3. I made a small change to the document and clicked "SAVE" 4. Documents - Add folder when uploading new file
Feature request, the ability to specify a new folder name when you are in the process of uploading a new file. This way you do not have to think through doing this step before hand but can do it on the fly. Thanks for your work, this is an awesome application. tech

First, let me thank you for creating this. I think it is great and it keeps on getting better. But as you have noticed, we always ask for more. :-) I have used basecamp for project management and I was about to sign up with Concept Share to share images and designs with my clients when I discovered Zoho.
