Evaluate applicants faster: Profile Summary and Skill Sets now in Applications

Evaluating applicants often requires switching between modules to understand their skills and background. With this update, we’ve extended two capabilities directly to the Applications module: Skill Sets and Profile Summary. You can now review applicants with better context without leaving the module.

What’s new  

Skill Sets added to the Applications module

Previously supported only in the Job Openings and Candidates modules, skill sets can now be added, viewed, and managed directly within an applicant’s profile in Applications. This ensures better consistency across modules and makes it easier to track an applicant’s capabilities while reviewing submissions.

AI Profile Summary for Applications

We’ve also extended Zia’s Profile Summary to the Applications module.

You can now view AI-generated summaries of applicants directly within the Applications module, helping you quickly understand a candidate’s background without switching to the Candidates module.

For users already using Profile Summary, this enhancement will be disabled by default for the Applications module.

Problems solved  

• No need to switch between Applications and Candidates modules to review applicant context

• Faster evaluation with AI-generated summaries directly inside the application record

• Better visibility of candidate skills during application review

• More consistent skill tracking across Job Openings, Candidates, and Applications modules

How it works  

Add or view skill sets within Applications  

You can now manage an applicant’s Skill Set directly from their profile in the Applications module, making it easier to review relevant capabilities while screening candidates.

Enable Profile Summary for Applications  

To use AI-generated summaries in Applications:

Go to Setup → Zia → Profile Summary and enable Applications under Supported Modules.

View applicant insights instantly  

Once enabled, recruiters can quickly view AI-generated profile summaries and skill sets within the application record, helping them assess candidates without switching modules.

Try it out  

Start reviewing applicants with more context directly in the Applications module.

To enable Profile Summary for Applications:

Setup → Zia → Profile Summary → Supported Modules → Applications
