Go Multilingual with Instant Bot Auto-Translation

Imagine you run a travel company with customers across different regions. Your website chatbot helps visitors discover travel packages, answers questions, and makes bookings.
As your business expands into new markets, you want to offer the same experience to customers who speak different languages.
But does that mean manually translating every piece of bot content? Not anymore.

From manual translation to one-click translation

Earlier, making your bot available in different languages meant manually translating and adding the content for each language.
  1. Now, with Bot Auto-Translation, you can create your bot in one language, select the languages you want to support, and translate it with a single click.
  1. You can use Zoho Translate, built into SalesIQ, or connect to supported translation integrations such as Google Translate, Azure AI Translator, or DeepL Translate.
  2. While configuring the bot, you can select the default language and the other languages your bot should support, making your bot available to a wider global audience in seconds.

How does it work for your customers?

Once you've configured Auto-Translation, the bot automatically determines which language to use based on the visitor's first message.
  1. The bot automatically detects the visitor's language:
When a visitor starts a conversation, the bot detects the language of their first message. If the language is supported, the bot continues the conversation in the same language.
  2. Use the default language when needed:
If the visitor's language isn't among the supported languages, the bot uses the default language you've configured.
For example: If your bot supports English, French, and German, with English set as the default language, a visitor who starts the conversation in French will interact with the bot in French. If another visitor starts in Spanish, (which is not one of the supported) the bot will use English, the default language.
