SalesIQ Tip for Admins: Your Safety Net for Data Recovery

Ever clicked 'Delete' in your SalesIQ and then realized it was the wrong item?
Maybe it was a prospect's chat that held important context you needed to refer to later on. Or, maybe you deleted an elaborate Zobot that you were still testing or planning to reuse.
One wrong click. That one second of regret. Instant panic.

We've all been there, and it happens more often than we think. For dire moments like these, where we simply need to recover the data instantly, we have SalesIQ's Recycle Bin.

SalesIQ’s Recycle Bin: Your 120-day Recovery Window

Whenever certain key items are deleted in SalesIQ, the Recycle Bin steps in. Instead of removing them forever immediately, it securely stores them for up to 120 days, giving you more than enough time to undo an accidental delete.

As an admin, you get two simple actions inside the Recycle Bin:
  1. Restore: Bring the item back to exactly where it belonged instantly.
  2. Delete: Permanently remove it if you’re sure you don’t need it.

How this helps you?

  1. Instant recovery: You can restore deleted items with a single click, including:
    1. Chats
    2. Notes
    3. Leads
    4. Contacts
    5. Companies
    6. Widgets
    7. Form controllers
    8. Plugs
    9. Zobots
    10. Spammers
Everything is restored to its original place, just the way it was.
  1. Ample time to restore: The 120-day retention gives you plenty of breathing room. Even if you notice the deletion much later, you still have a long, safe window to recover it.
  1. Find exactly what you need: Use filters to quickly locate the deleted item based on:
    1. Who deleted it
    2. When it was deleted
    3. Which module it belonged to
  1. Admin-only control: Only Admins can view, restore, or permanently delete items from the Recycle Bin keeping everything secure and accountable.

Pro Tip: If you’ve created custom profiles with Admin as the primary role, you can choose to grant them permissions to view and manage the Recycle Bin as needed. This lets you control who gets recovery and permanent deletion access based on your team’s needs.
