Schedule Exports for Regular Project Updates

Tracking project data often means exporting data at regular intervals. Instead of manually exporting data every time, users can schedule exports for Phases, Tasks, and Tasks in Zoho Projects. These exports can be set to run once, daily, weekly, or monthly automatically.

When a project manager wants to:

1. To track the progress of foundation, structural, or electrical phases.
   
2. To review open critical site issues like material delays or safety concerns.
   
3. To see pending review tasks assigned to the project engineer.

For Phases, the manager can select the Phases tab in a project, schedule an export applying a filter for active phases, and repeat weekly. This creates a export that shows which phases such as foundation, structural, and electrical are on track and which are delayed.

For Tasks, the manager can select the Tasks tab in a project, schedule an export with filters for pending tasks by owner, and repeat it weekly. This export can be set to mail to project managers or leads on Fridays. These exports give them a clear picture of what needs to be completed in the coming week.

For Issues, the manager can select the Issues tab in a project, schedule an export with filters for critical severity issues, and repeat it daily. This export is emailed every morning so the site team can immediately focus on critical problems such as safety concerns or material shortages.

These scheduled exports make project tracking more reliable and reduce the need for repeated manual exporting.
