New in CPQ: Create dynamic actions in Product Configurator (PC), clone PCs and Price Rules (PRs)

Configuring product combinations just got enhanced. Zoho CRM's CPQ system now supports dynamic actions based on multiple base products. Additionally, you can now clone configurations for both Product Configurator (PC) and price rules (PRs).

Dynamic actions based on multiple base products

In the past, when setting up a rule to add a product to a quote automatically, you could only calculate its quantity or other criteria based on one product from the selected list. Now you can configure quantities based on the presence—and quantity—of multiple base products.


For example, if a quote includes a radio, wall clock, and remote control, and each of these items needs batteries in different quantities, you can now set up a single rule that calculates the total quantity of batteries accordingly. CPQ will compute the sum dynamically during quote creation or modification.

In short, you can now:
  • Select multiple base products to drive quantity calculation.
  • Set different values for each base product.
This gives you greater control over how products are added to quotes and ensures accuracy when dealing with varying requirements.

Clone Product Configurators and price rules

You can now clone both PCs and PRs directly from the rules list or detailed rule view—no need to start from scratch every time.



With this update, you can:
  • Select "Clone" from the rule's menu to duplicate an existing rule.
  • Make edits as needed and rename the rule before saving.
  • Access new options to deactivate or delete rules from the detailed view.
