Trigger actions in third-party apps using Zoho Flow

Trigger actions in third-party apps using Zoho Flow

Greetings,

I hope you're all doing well. We're excited to share an enhancement to Bigin's workflow capabilities. Zoho Flow Actions are now available in Bigin, enabling you to automate tasks across third-party applications directly from your workflow and stage automation rules.

Zoho Flow is a no-code integration platform that connects cloud apps and automates data exchange between them, allowing you to trigger external actions, like sending messages, creating records, or notifying teams—when an automation is triggered in Bigin.

As part of this update, the Workflow and Stage Automation menus are now organized under Setup > Automation > Automation Rules, along with the newly added Zoho Flow Actions.

To support this enhancement, we've refined automation permissions; what was previously a single-grouped permission is now split into clearer, more specific controls.

Permission
Description
Manage Automation
Users have full control over workflows and automation rules.
Manage Flow Connection
Users can edit/delete connections created by other users.
Access Flow Connection
Users can create/use only their own connections; cannot modify others'.

If the Manage Flow Connections permission is enabled, Access Flow Connections will be automatically enabled as well. However, you can also choose to enable only Access Flow Connections if needed.

These permissions are enabled by default for Administrator and Standard profiles.

Businesses often rely on multiple applications to manage their sales, communication, invoicing, and support processes. Until now, executing tasks in these external apps required switching tools or setting up custom integrations.

Zoho Flow Actions eliminates these challenges by allowing you to:
  • Perform tasks in third-party apps directly when something happens in Bigin.
  • Build cross-app automations without external connectors or coding.

A credit is consumed each time a Zoho Flow action is successfully executed. Every month, you're charged based on the total number of credits used in the previous month.
  • Free credits: Each account starts with 100 free credits every month. You won't be charged for these first 100 credits.
  • Additional credits: Once the free credits are consumed, you'll be billed for any additional credits used. Admins can set a maximum cap on how many additional credits can be consumed per month.
For example, even if you set your maximum cap to 20,000 credits and you end up using only 10,000, you'll be billed only for those 10,000 credits. You can check your credit usage in the store.

You can purchase up to 500,000 credits. If you require more, you can contact support@bigin.com.

Availability:
  • Available only for paid editions of Bigin.
