Display a duplicate record warning next to the field
I am new to Zoho and coding in general. I am trying to keep track of orders that need to be refunded using a form. I would like to keep other employees from entering duplicate records. To accomplish this I would like to have a warning message come up next to the actual field saying "this order already has a refund on it..etc". I know that Zoho has an "allow duplicate entry" field BUT this displays only after the form has been submitted. I would like to code it where it shows up as soon as it is

Editing a Duplicate Entry
Hi Folks, I am a Zoho newbie and have a problem. I would like for my form to search for duplicate Order numbers on user input. What is the Default Font and Font Size?
What is the default font and font size when typing in an rtf box? I tried typing the same word next to other words (ex. the) and then changing the font and font size for it and it looked like Arial 10, but when I saved it that way, the rtf boxes did not match the drop down box fields in terms of font and font size. If I copy paste something in I want it to match the rest of my fields (ex. drop downs are in the default font and font size.) Thanks!
Generating a unique case ID #
How might I go about having a unique customer number emailed to my customer on submission of a form? I am needing to keep track of my customers cases by way of a 6 digit "case/customer number" which would be generated automatically and emailed to them at the time of form submit. I would also require that the case numbers progress by 3 digits with each new submission. Any help? I am grateful in advance!
asign variable to link field
Hello, I need to know how assign a variable in a link field with 2 boxes URL & LINK NAME (I need put the link name). I tried to do: On Success input.link1 = variableURL In a view I can see the URL (without link name) but in plain text (cannot click) and editing the record the link disappear and the 2 boxes (URL & LINK NAME) empty. My records are organized by the groups that I determine. I would like have the ability to quickly select an entire custom made grouping of records. Currently I can only select all of the records or select each record individually. Please consider this. Thanks!
How to delete duplicate entries from listbox before display?
Hi there. I have a view called: used cars. When using the form to add an entry to this. There is a field called: make which does a lookup on a view called car types. However. car types has 2 fields. make and model. so if there is 2 records like so: BMW Z3 BMW 320i. then the lookup returns 2 * BMW to my drop down list. How can I remove these duplicates? Thanks. Hello, I have read some posts about linking a file into email. I discovered that my application should be public to allow people downloading things. But how can I protect a form of being sent or even viewed while keeping my application public to access download file ? What I need : - Uploaded files should be downloadable from an email - The form used to upload file should only be accessible from allowed-only users. How to mix public access required by download with user restriction in my app ? Thank

Allow attachments - other that just Scheduler
I have a script set to run in Scheduler to send an email with a view PDF attachment. I am trying to now make a funtion to do the same thing (rather than just making it scheduled). it is telling me: "Attachment is only applicable for scheduler actions" Is there a reason for this limitation? Does not make sense to me.

Zoho Creator csv feed to Zoho reports
According to your slideshow available at the below link to make data available from Creator to Reports, from view mode, you select 'more actions', Export data and select CSV feed (a screenshot is provided). However, the options within export data is different for me and all export data options exports and downloads the data in the selected file format. There is no option to select a feed. Please advise urgently as I have just spent 2 hours trying to find pages in your help section as your 24/7 phone

Accidental Mass Delete - Help!
I have created 2 views that receive data whenever a form is submitted. They both store user input, but one view also records the user's application status. The other view is only a holding place until user input is process by a real person. After processing the data from the second view today, I did a mass delete on the view, since I only want data stored in that view that has not been processed by a human. To my dismay, I found out that all of the input user data in the first view was also deleted,
Edit a related field in a combined view
I have a combined view with fields from an employee application form and fields from a related manager review form. When I use the edit button on the combined view, the fields from the manager review form are not available to edit. Is it possible to edit fields from both forms from the combined view?

Accidental Mass Delete...help!
I have an application that is feeding 2 views. While I was editing one of the views, I wanted to delete all of the information, so I did a select all and delete. To my great dismay, when I went to the other view, all of the data was gone in that view too! What happened? Is it possible to retrieve any of the lost information? How to import multi-select or checkbox fields?
I am new to Zoho Creator and I am exploring the application to see if it will serve well as a shared database platform for our small group of users. The database we would like to share is currently in a single Excel spreadsheet where a checkbox field is stored in multiple columns containing binary values (0,1): Focus_1 Focus_2 Focus_3 etc. I have looked through the Help documentation and I'm starting to look through forums, but I don't see an explanation for how to import this type of field. View criteria and nulls
I have two views of the same data with different criteria. The first is ((Status == "Active")) The other is ((Status != "Active")) I imported data with no value for the Status field. How can I specify a filter on a date field using a filter specification such as "This Week" or "This Month" ? This is available in the reports filter criteria but not in the view format. Any Ideas ?
