Function call for multiple selected records in list view
Hi, Is it possible to write a function that will perform action for a number of records selected in the list view? For example, I select some contacts in contacts view and call the function to open an html fiew with those selected contact details in a customized format. Or say, emails are sent to all those selected contacts? -Arghya
"Set Grouping" Problem
I'm trying to "Set Grouping" for a view in my database. Every time I try to "Add" a group over to the right or I try to change the order of the list on the right, I get this error message: "Error occurred. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please try after some time or refresh the page and try again" And I'm getting this inconsistently with other actions I'm trying to take too. I've updated my computer and tried three different browsers. I've also tried on another computer. Is this me or
field width

Dealing with API Response
Hello, I'm hoping someone may be able to help me with a fairly simple issue I'm struggling with. I have developed a custom form using the Add Record - REST API - POST Method. I load this form into my site via an Iframe and everything is working great. When the user clicks the "Submit" button, the Iframe loads the response page. Is there any way to avoid this or implement a workaround to redirect to another page? I've tried adding an onclick event to the Submit button in the form, but am still
Safari
I have set a success message on a form and it works great on explorer although as I also direct to a URL the message is not seen because the redirect is faster than the success message. The problem is that the success message and redirect to URL do not work when the form is submitted from a Mac using Safari browser, any ideas?
Cannot update tickets
My users cannot update their tickets anymore. On Edit / Update we're faced with a rotating wheel but no "Data updated succesfully!" message. This issue is intermittent but happens more and more regularly.

Not Working in IE 6 - Help!
We're currently using a Zoho database, which has been great, but most of the computers we use have only IE 6 installed, and as of this morning, it appears that we can't update records using IE 6. Uggh. I noted today when I went to the forum on one of those computers, there was a message that said IE 6 was not "yet" supported, and to use IE 7 and above. Is there a timetable for getting Creator working under IE 6 again? We're currently unable to use our database, which is a bummer, and I don't have

Hello, I have 2 applications that are sending the form data by email fine and 2 more which are refusing to send anything out. I have checked my quota and it does not seem I have reached the limit... I use the free flow script editor almost exclusively due to it's speed and flexibility. However, there is big benefit to using the scriptbuilder. YOU CAN SEE ALL YOUR FIELD NAMES! So if I fetch all the records for a form eg. rec = form1[ID != 0] then I have to have a separate browser tab open to make sure I have all of the right field names in my current text. It would be really nice if you had a either a reference dropdown box with all the field names for the given app OR have the text editor do

Hi, Has anyone had this problem? I had an app that I spent an incredible amount of time entering data into and it's no longer there. I know the last time I logged in was less than a month ago, but I wouldn't think that it had been deleted. Has anyone had this problem?

Hi.. When you click on submit and you missed to enter values to some fields then internal zoho mecanism will display message text saying that "invalid entry found please enter values" and it displays which fileld are missing. now this error message stay there and it wont go away. Because we are hiding and display the fileds depend on previous field selection and had so many fileds, so looks very ugly. well, clicking on reset will relaod the form. but is there any way the error stays there for a
No one can fill out my form.
My form was working great for about 5 hours. Then people were no longer able to send any data through it. They told me that it just hung when they pressed the submit button. I never got the email from them, and they aren't on the data spreadsheet information view. My charity event depends on this form, and for people to be able to fill it out. It's been down for two days now. - The public can see the form and fill it out (Or that's how it should be working) - The form is embedded onto my website.

When constructing a sendmail message in Script Builder, if you include quotes around a word, ZC is OK with it. However, if you switch to Free-flow Scripting, ZC throws an error for the quotes, and then you have to manually change them to apostrophes as a substitute. Can I build multi-row views? e.g. a record is displayed on 2+ rows, e.g. field A, B, C on row 1 and field D, E, F, G, H on row 2 etc.
Anyway to force 4 digit years
I have a date field on my input form and in my application settings have chosen the date format to be: mm/dd/yyyy If a user inputs 03/15/2009 of course is shows up correctly. If the user does not follow the convention of mm/dd/yyyy and inputs 3/15/09 the field does not give an error and the date is recorded in the database as 03/15/0009 (notice it does put the "0" in front of the 3, but records the year as 0009). Is there a fix for this somewhere in the scripting? Thanks in advance & keep up the

Form builder problem
For a couple days now, the form building tool on Zoho Creator has refused to accept anything but the default entries for a Dropdown box. That is, if I try to enter my own title and list of options for the dropdown, I get an error message. But if I simply create it with the default placeholder text, it works. Unfortunately, that requires that I go back in, in edit mode, and individually enter each item in the dropdown list. Is this a system problem or am I not using this correctly? Thanks.

List Creation with Dates
I am at my limit on this one. The user will enter a start date and an end date. When they click submit, I want it to make a list of the dates in that range. Hi Everyone, I have been trying to figure out how I embed a form and view together. My goal To create a search form to view. How it will be used Step 1: [Client] adds contacts to form. --- Step 2: [Admin] enters a value into the 1 textbox form. How to fetch float, decimal or string records?
Hi i'm new to zoho and started to build my first applikation. Now i need to fetch a record (decimal nr.) from one form to another within the same applikation. This seems not to be possible, because the fetch record function just accept a boolean value e as response. But the recorded input field i have to fetch is a decimal or floating (currency) value!!? Hi..Zoho Creator Experts; Is it possible ( I tried but did not figured it out) to use the same form (eg. form1) in different tab in customization. In other words, I have Form1 and Form1 view. I created couple of tabs in customization. example, tab1 and tab2 for data entry. Now I want to use the same form1 in both tab. Use of Related fields in Criteria
Can anyone explain why Related fields (from parent form through Lookup) fail to work when used in View Criteria? The script saved correctly, i.e., no error messages, but when you attempt to access the View you get an error: "We are unable to fetch this data, sorry! Please note that your data is SAFE. Report this problem to support@zohocreator.com." This appears to be a bug. Either I am permitted to use the related field because the script saves properly, but doesn't function; OR I am not permitted

Here's what I'm trying to do. I have a series of 6 sets of fields with 2 fields in each series (Name & Age). Name is a single line text element and Age is currently a lookup into a table containing valid ages.
