editing a row pops up with a different row!
when I click on 'edit' on a row, most of the time it will pop up with the right row, but on some rows it will consistently pop up the wrong row for editing. i'm not sure what exactly is doing this, but it is only manifesting itself after I transferred the app (with data) to a different user (this one) from pbh101. also, when i click view, that works right, but edit is popping up the wrong row studegov
import export issues
I exported data to .xls format. I then deleted the date from my application and tried to import the data back into the application and I get mismapped fields and some correctly mapped fields. I tried imported in xls format as well as csv but no luck. Is this a know issue? collaborative.org

Hello, How can I move application with lookup fields in tables from one account to another? Application script export/import succesful, but when I trying to import exported .csv with data - lookup fields remain empty. May be it's need to add additional fileds to store source lookup data? clicking 'Edit' on some rows pop up a different row for edit
When I click 'edit' in my application on some rows, they will consistently pop up an edit box for a different row. I've noticed that these rows tend to be near each other alphabetically for one of the columns That is, a row whose title field starts with '40' will consistently pop up an edit box for a different row whose title field is '13', or 'sleepy' instead of 'shaggy'. Auto Select Field
I am trying to setup on of my fields so that if the user types in an invalid number it will alert them to the invalid entry, clear the value, and put the cursor back into that box for them to type a valid number. Currently, it gives them the alert and resets the value, but I have not figured out how to move the cursor back up to that box. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Word Wrap in Zoho Creator "Label Names"
I need to use a long sentence or two in "label name" for a field in Creator. When it is displayed in a browser, the user is forced to scroll right to see all of the sentence. Is there a way to embed a word-wrap in a label name??? Thank you. Brent
Can't delete number field in a form
I want to delete a number field. When I try to delete it I get the error message: "This field is referenced in the following places. Please remove them and then delete this field" It then lists 4 forms that I used this field in. When I go to each form, I can not find a way to remove the field from the form. In Column Properties, I can uncheck the "show" check box, but I can't find a way to remove the field from the form. Will someone please let me know what I am doing wrong? Thanks.

Radio button Sort Order
Since upgrade to ZC3, the sort order of a radio button group on my form is out of order. It is NOT sorted alphabetically. The order used to be the reverse of how the initial values were entered, which was perfect, because they correspond to a progression through a series of stages. Now, they're out of order. Any ideas?

Forum - ease of use
As forum activity is high, it would be nice if forum posts were divided into many more categories rather than just one for mail. I would suggest a basic FAQ one and then various sub forum topics. Search option could then be all forums or only within active tab (sub forum). Forum header already lists as "forums categories" but this presently is just threads. I have a custom email notification that doesn't keep my string settings in the "Function Configuration": Argument name---------Field Name toaddress----------------Email Ace-----------------------Ace Cust_Name--------------Cust_Name When I save and go back into editing, the toaddress and Cust_name arguments have their field names changed to "update" (as opposed to "email" & "Cust_Name") So the configuration swaps an assigned field to another without any notice and makes the emailnotification function
Tooltip does not display

white space problem
hi there, i'm using zoho creator to make an email address collection form and that works fine, but it inserts a huge white space underneath the form. playing with the HTML doesn't do anything, and i tried multiple demos and they all about 2 inches of white space in between the form and anything that comes beneath. is this a glitch or something a setting can fix? thanks, eric luckyjoker777

View Summary Options
Hello, I have a question regarding the "view" button when looking at data within Zoho Creator. I was wondering if it was possible to have a simple view of say: Client First Name Client Last Name ... and then if you click on "view", it allows you to view all of the data related that record, such as Address, City, State, Zip, Client Type, etc, etc... Is that possible? To have a view that only shows a few records, but then allow more column data to display under the "view" button? Thanks
Spreadsheet export
I can export my Creator view into a spreadsheet. I keep getting an error after multiple attempts. The error I get is as follows: "IE cannot download Information_Request_View/ from creator.zoho.com. IE was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later." I have been, however, able to export to HTML, but would prefer xls. Count entries per user?
I found the count function: count(formname[<expression>]) but it doesn't say how you count entries for each collaborator as in count(formname[<collaborator1>]) so as to get for instance: User 1 in October: 75 entries User 2 in October: 72 Entries User 3 in October: 57 Entries And so on... This could be useful for DB and Reports after extraction from Zoho Creator App...

I have a form with two decision boxes: -Send Case ID to Cust? -Send escalation notification to cust? At present I have a Send Mail on input for each of these decision boxes; Problem is an email is sent everytime you tick or untick the box. What is the syntax necessited to have the email sent ONLY on VALIDATE, IF boxes are checked?

I'm creating a new app in Creator and it's failing after I cut an paste the data. It correctly identifies the headers, but the 'Finish' button is not being displayed. Is there limit to the number of records that can be added this way (mine is 632), or could the data contain characters that are messing up the import? How can I make a list that counts repeating text strings?
I have created an application that let's me record stock ticker symbols into a Creator database. Sometimes the lists can be around 200 symbols, so I enter them all at once using a mult-line field. I have a column called Multiple_Tickers with cells that contain anywhere from 1 to 200 stock ticker symbols. So each cell could look something like this: IBM GOOG GM KO LVLT FR SPY etc. I'm looking for a script similar to the one I use in excel that will create a list of each ticker symbol that appears

Hi, When i started with ZC, i used my personal email as my zohoadmin user ID Now, i have a zohomail id, which i want to use as the zohoadminuser id The reason i woud like to change is when i use the send mail - fature, ... my personal email is used.. New Records are not appearing by Added Time
Hi Wizohoes, As I understand new records are supposed to be sorted by Added Time (by default). Since yesterday the records are not appearing in their added time. Although I can easily apply a sort and get it right. Just wanted to know if it had any implications when the default sort isnt working. Thanks : )
