Hidden Tables in layout and import into web sites
Dear Support I have tables in Creator that I would like to hide in layout so I normally do not see them when working. Will this have any effect on their showing up in embedded websites? Regards Peter moanazoho

Hi, We are using creator to run a service we offer, and we are planning to go live in the near future. We are happy that we can remove the branding, however, in order that a new user can be loaded, we need to set them up, and this in turn means that they will receive an email from Zoho for them to verify they are who they say they are. Is there any way around this, as it is clear it is Zoho fronting the service if we have to use this process? Many thanks George

Hi, a while ago I reported that the sub views were not working, and you informed me that this would be addressed. I have looked at the service again today, and on creating a new view it reports an error. However, the sub view is created, but no formatting or filtering exists. Can I download the Field name used for scripts as part of a
When I download the data, I want to use the field names that are in Creator for Scripts. These are much more useful for offline data manipulation than trying to use the field description. Is it possible to download this field with the rest of a data export? If not, can Zoho make it so we can? Joe jherlihy

Hi, when I select "XSS Security" low in my application, embedding html code in formulas works fine. The problem I see is that any text submitted to my forms will also be displayed unescaped which will allow any user of my application to do XSS attacks by submitting javascript code to a field. Formula field not updating?
Hi, I wanted to display the number of confirmations for a bug in my bugtracker application in a view. I have two Forms, "Bug_Submission" and "Bug_Confirmation". In the "Bug_Confirmation" form there a lookup field for an ID in "Bug_Submission" called "Lookup_Bug_ID". So I created a Formula in my "Bug_Submission" form with a value: countConfirmations(ID) with the function countConfirmations like so: int countConfirmations(int id) { return count(Bug_Confirmation[Lookup_Bug_ID==id]) } which works fine.

Hi, i would consider the following a bug: When I create a formula field in a form (e.g. Test_Form) and give it the following value: count(Test_Form[Single_Line_1=="Hallo"]) i get the following error: "No rows found for the table PersonalityConfiguration in this DataObject" which does not really reveal its meaning to me. Help with Monthly Data Entry
I want to be able to view expected revenue by month on a graph in Creator, but I noticed that when I make a graph view, it plots by specific date. Is there a way we could change add a feature to the graph report that will capture all data for a given month and create a vertical bar for "August" rather than one bar for August 12 and another bar for August 25? What can I do with the data?
Am I missing something? Creator is infinitely easier to use than Access, but once I have all my data in it...what can I do with the data other than look at it as if it were an excel sheet? How "manage users"
Creator allows you to invite Users and it says that you can set the permission levels for each user but I only see that you can set permission on the Views and Forms. Under "Account Settings Manage Users it says ... edit their permissions... but can't find where to change settings. Thank you.

download file from email
Dear friends, I have been searching in the forum for an answer without success. Hope someone can help me... I have created a function that when a is form updated automatically, it sends an email with a link for downloading a file. However, it seems that when they try to download the file, they need to log in in Zoho. Is there any way to download the file without registering in Zoho?

As a I see people can send a form to feel the forms automatically. This is great. The only problema is that how can i do to send a photo(the content) not a hypelink by e-mail.

Does the scoping of functions: thisapp.namespace.function(), indicate that we can call functions from other apps in our library? if so, does this mean we can fetch and update data in other apps in our library? The feature of app creation from xls data, one table per app it would seem; leads me to wonder if we could import data in this fashion for use in an existing app via cross app scripting? application will not load in IE for some of my users
A couple of my clients are reporting that they cannot view my application immediately after they login. It seems to be a problem specific to IE. The application header loads as does my logo and a piece of one of the tabs, but that is all. I have attached a screen shot that illustrates the problem.
Script error for "Embedded View" on my site
I'm getting a Javascript error when I use the Java snippet to embed a view on our website. Here is what the error reports: Stop running this script? A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to ru slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresonsive. And then of course you can select Yes or No. If you select Yes - the page still loads, but often it does not load all the data. If you continually hit "Refresh" it will slowly load more data. Do I have a corrupted db?
About mid-day yesterday it was necessary to remove a db field from a support table to rename it. (Creator allowed me to use the reserved word "type" as a field label. Trying to access it later by script caused errors.) This field was also being referenced by a lookup field in my main data table, so it was necessary to removed the field from that table, as well as comment out all script references to it and delete all the records from the main table. Hi to the guys at zoho, I have a sheet with names, urls, numbers. when i tried to export this table, it wouldnt export. there was no window. I guessed there might be illegal characters/objects in the url field. After creating a custom view without the URL column, I was able to export the table. On re-enabling I was unable to. Also.. generally we copy paste the url into the field, as against typing it in. And copying from a web page could capture other things on the clipboard apart from text. Would
