Hi, I am developing an application in Creator to enable users to record telephone conversations with customers as a record in a form (Call Record). Fields in this form include pick-list fields Company_Name and Call_Outcome, and a date field Preferred Call Back Date. One of the items in the Call_Outcome pick-list is �call back�. Want that if the user submits a record where �call back� was selected in Call_Outcome this record becomes the current record for the Company selected in Company_Name. The

Header tabs disappearing...
Hi - When I have an app that uses top tabbed navigation and I click a URL in a view that was generated by Zoho (like I have a column called "Show Details" that is a link to another, filtered view), the new view loses the tabbed header. If I go back, the header is on the parent/referring page, but never on the child page. Not sure if this is a bug or if it is as intended...

Dates
More often than not, when I enter a date (either free-hand, or using your calender entry widget, it gets recorded backwards. i.e., I enter 02/06/09, and it gets entered as 06/02/09. The time seems to enter fine, but no matter where I enter the date, it is erratic. timorgenthaler

Hi all Thx for ur great job. I assigned an email to each customer, but when I select a customer the email has not been assigned automatically and every time I have to choose it from the list. (as default I see the "select" word) 2nd, when I try to access this application from my mobile (not the mobile version) if I use internet explorer mobile I cannot use javascript and if I use Opera 8 I see the loading logo without any improvement. Combining Date and Text to make a string

Login to access JSON Feed on a web page
Hello, I am using Zoho Creator as a database to store information which will be mapped on a Google Map. The user inputs data through a Form, including latitude and longitude values, which are accessed in my Google Maps site through a JSON feed of the View. Everything works great with a public application. I need to make the application private, and still have access to the JSON feed. Bug in Lookup and Url-Field
There is a bug in the lookup field if you use multiselect and then link it to an url field. In the table will appear only html code and no link. This seems to be a very small bug, since when I insert in the html source code just one space character after the first entry my browser will display the links and not the source code anymore! Would be very nice if you could fix this fast since I need it for my application. Cheers a lot. :D
Zoho Creator
We've built a database that we wish to share with several clients. The $10/user/month fee will quickly become cost prohibitive. Is it possible to transfer (duplicate) a Zoho Creator database to another (client) account? I am in the process of creating an Asset Database using Zoho Creator. Once finished I want to import my assets using a csv file. I can't see if this is possible using Creator? Please advise. martin
Url field sorted by Link Name instead of Url name
I noticed that the Url is sorted by the Url name causing sometimes that the Link Name might be in different order instead of the ABC order, I think will be better to sort it by Link Name instead. Thanks, Ed Silva.
Displaying View of Lookup Field Related Data
I've created a view containing a multi-selection lookup field and have then created a column to display a related field from the lookup in that view. Multiple items in the lookup field are displayed, but onlya single item in the related field is displayed in that column. Is there a workaround for this? Thanks! John

Hi, Building a application to allow me to record in a form, the details of conversations with contacts at companies I make contact by telephone. The user loads a call form (called "Call Record") then selects company_name in a lookup field (linked to a form called "Company). Every company has multiple contacts stored in a form called "Contacts" and linked to the "Company" form. BUG allowing record edition in a private application
I have an application embed in my website and it's allowing record edition in this private application, so anyone who access the website can edit even delete the record. hello, we made this app which is actually 5 web pages long survey for our church. No matter what we did doing it as 1 survey/page had numerous issues/size limits? How can we connect the data from all 5 pages so if someone doesn't finishes all 5 pages, the data on the omitted questions doesn't move up from the all users after that in the blank space created by the omission. In other words.. if submitter # 3 doesn't finis page 5, data (on page 5) from user #4 moves up to fill the blanks caused by user

Google search for public view
I have a public zoho view embed in my website. My questions is if once google indexes this view will be listed by google under my website or only will be listed under zoho's site? The idea is that my website could be found by google via the zoho view, so the people can find my site, and not only the view itself. Send Mail function stop working. BTW, I had SSL protected form before Business version released and notwithstanding I did not yet switched to Business account, it steal remains https prefix. May it be somehow connected? Hope on Your help.

Determining View or Form Name
I understand that Zoho creates a form name using underscores ("_") in place of spaces (e.g. view named "my big view" becomes "my_big_view". My question is - when I place special characters in a name (e.g. "my big view & stuff"), what does the name become? Is does the "&" remain or get turned into something else?

Form page cuts off some of my form
Is there only so much I can put on a creator page. I have a paragraph of several lines near the end of the page, but Creator will only keep a few lines. I don't mind adding a second page to this form, but I"m not sure how to do that. Can I place a button to move the reader to the next page? Any suggestions, TIA JA[/google]
The recent update caused my application to break
I built an application that was working fine for several weeks prior to the recent update, but at least two parts of my application broke after the update. Both issue I've found so far appear to be related to calling user defined functions. The functions appear to work, so it seems like the act of calling the fuction is the problem. I am signing up people for an ICT conference using Zoho but there has been a strange extra category add itself to the available choices for Workshop Two (called 'I'). I have tried to edit it out and change the person who has it on their entry to a different one (I'm presenting) but even though it says it has updated her entry, the 'I' won't go away and it doesn't remove itself from the options list either when I minus it off. Populate a checkbox(s) based on other form
I have three forms. The first, Food, has just a single line text field, Name. The second, Meals, has a Name field, and a Foods field, which is a lookup checkbox based on the Food form, so that all of the available foods show up. Possible to limit text displayed in a view?
Does anyone know if you can limit the text displayed (not entered) in a multi-line field for a view? I have an app that has a field called "Summary" - a multi-line text field. The user enters a detailed summary of the work being performed which can get quite lengthy. The problem is, when I show that field in a view, the row gets extremely tall as the column width is quite narrow. Is it possible to display ONLY the first 50, 100, etc. characters of the field in the view with the ENTIRE field contents

Hi, I have 2 forms.
