Server issues
I have been kicked out of Zoho while creating a note on lead that I am currently working and while also trying to send an email not only today but yesterday also. Is there any server issues that I should be made aware of? This has happened both days around the same time. Yesterday I waited about 15 minutes and it came back to functioning properly. I can't afford that kind of down time. Thank you.

Custom functions email commands not working all of sudden
We have been using custom functions to send email alerts to our admin and our customers. As of May 23, this has stopped working and we are getting errors on our custom functions failures tab saying: error in executing send mail task. Please help as soon as you can as this is how we retrieve quote requests from our leads. This is very urgent and very upsetting!

change value field type value
Can I change the field type value of a custom created field? For example, I created a picklist and now i realize that I should have done it as a multi-picklist. Is there a way to simply change the type or do I have to create a new custom field? If I have to create a new field can I (1) copy the values I have already added (do i have to retype each one) and (2) does the deleted custom field count against my 150 ?

Custom Fields in Professional and Enterprise Editions
I'm still in my trial period so I've been switching between the Professional and Enterprise versions to see which one best fits my company's needs. In one of my modules, I exceeded the limit for custom fields in the professional version while I was working with Enterprise, but when I switched back, they all stayed in their places. Does this mean that if I were to go with the Professional CRM, anything custom functions that I enabled while I was using Enterprise will stay even if they are incompatible
Fill fields in an account, based on parent account
Hello, We have a number of accounts in our system, some of these accounts are 'child accounts' to other accounts in the system. The child account should have the same address as the parent account. I have created a rule that executes on 'Field Update' - the field is a 'Lookup' field that searches for Accounts and is called 'Parent Account' However, I am not sure what the custom function code should be to find the address details of the 'Parent Account' and then map these to the account that the 'Lookup'
Frustrations after convertion trail to free
I was testing Zoho CRM just to compare with the Salesforce that I use now. When I was on the trial version was possible to create many extra fields that was necessary and when expire the trial I was unable to create. I read a lot about it and in any place that a read was specifying that after the expiration of the trial version this will happen. Zoho Crm and Workflow
Hello. My goal is to have a field in a contacts that will when triggered will automatically send a reminder to our customers to think about buying a certain item. This reminder e-mail is to be triggered every September. I want this to automatically do this every year moving forward. The problem is that I tried using a check box but, there is not way that I see, to set it to send only once every September. I would like a "user" option for custom Lookup fields.
In many cases, we will have more than one employee user assigned to an account or opportunity because the employee users serve different functions (i.e. Sales Rep vs designated Customer Support Rep). As a secondary feature request - when there is finally a "user" lookup field, it will be critical to be able to push email alerts and assign tasks to those users, regardless of whether or not they are owner.

Hi there all, I have a question and really hope you guys could help me out. I made a certain custom field (with data type numeric) where is used an ID with 8 numbers ranging from 0-9. Unfortunately, in a numeric data type is the 0 is not taken into account hence some ID's are now 7 numbers without the 0 in the front. We are using Zoho CRM for client management for our MSP. Our technicians are always out in the field so they rely on the Zoho CRM app on their phone to find client information. We use the Description Information section in Accounts to store passwords and notes related to each client. There is no easy way to locate a specific note or password from the Mobile device without scrolling and hoping you don't miss it. It would be nice to have a way that when you are on an Account Details page on the mobile

Have Fields from the Contact record lookup automatically in a custom created module
Hello, I am wondering if it is possible to have fields auto-populate for a contact within a custom created module. So I have created a custom module called "Weigh-ins". I am trying to figure out the best solution of calculating the total weight loss since the initial weigh in but there is no way to create a formula field that grabs a value from somewhere else and uses it. Wondering if not possible in CRM and maybe Zoho creator might be a better route. Please help! Thanks!

Customize search results layout
How can I customize the information that displays in the search results. I can get the contacts and results that I want but I canot see on that search results page the information that I want to see without having to click through and open the item. Hi people, I was just wondering what would be the best way to format a phone field. Currently we can end up with all different types of separators when scanning business cards, some examples being: Landline: 61 - 7 - 43211234 617.4321.1234 Mobile: (041) 234-1234 The goal being to remove all of these erroneous characters. Looking at Webforms. The design function is fairly limited for web forms, so we will almost certainly modify the html to better suit our website - however I was wondering whether there were any plug ins or third party apps, or interesting work arounds, that might: 1. Improve the design functionality inside the CRM 2. Integrate with Zoho to create forms that both pushed data into the CRM, but also pulled data out of the CRM to populate pick lists and dropdown menus, etc Website is built in Wordpress.

Hello Zoho Forum I am in the market for a new CRM system and Zoho looks really interesting. My plan was to integrate Zoho CRM with Microsoft Dynamics Navision using APPSeConnect. My question is: When a lead becomes an account, it needs to be created in the Microsoft Dynamics Navision. Is there a function for this in Zoho? To push a new customer into, say, Navision? Account Name History
Hi. Does anyone know of a way to preserve and keep the account name in a history drop down or something related in the CRM Account Screen? In other words often times companies and or organizations change names. It would be nice to update the name but be able to see the previous names. I know salesforce and others have something like this. I have some accounts that change names every few months. I know thee is a audit trail in ZOHO but it is buried to deep under audit trails and requires searching.
Custom function
hello, The IT admin of ZCRM create all custom function. When a user update an account the custom function is called, no problem. The problem is that the field MODIFY BY is always the IT admin (= the creator of the custom function). And when the sales director want a report to know who work, there is just IT ADMIN because his custom function update all objects. Do you know a tips to keep the field MODIFY BY with the name of the user and not the creator of the custom function ? The proble is the same
