Our brains are fine tuned to recognize colors before any text or shapes, making color coding a powerful tool to organize data and find items quickly.  Color coding of our day-to-day work help with quickly processing the information, reducing cognitive overload and partially prevent human errors.

 

Earlier, in Zoho Sprints, you can color code the entities but with a limited set of default colors. As we received quite a few requests to bring in this color spectrum, our team heard you and we wanted to have it included in our app. You can now customize colors from the color spectrum while setting a color for your entities.

 

For instance, if you want to create a custom status to represent a niche status with a color code that your organization already aware of, then you can use this option.

 

Sometimes, you may have statuses, stages, tags or other entities more than the default color options.  To accommodate this requirement and to provide you with more color options, we have now supported a color spectrum where you can derive a color of your liking and use it for your entities. Click More Colors to view the color spectrum. Just click and drag across the spectrum to find a suitable color for your entity.
