Here's a roundup of all the new features and announcements that went live across Zoho Workplace applications in September.
Zoho Mail
Compose Options Across Templates
You can now use the Undo, Redo, and New List options in Mail Compose even after switching between Gmail, Yahoo, and Outlook compose templates.
Custom Archive Policies for Delegated Accounts
Create and manage custom Archive policies for other mail accounts that have delegated access to you. Select the required account from the account drop-down to manage its Archive policies.
Manage Filters and Folder settings across accounts
Switch between email accounts in Mail Settings to view and manage the Filters and Folder settings for each account.
Zoho Mail mobile updates: Android
- You can now drag email addresses from the To field and drop them into the CC or BCC fields.
- Copy an email address directly from the recipient fields using the copy icon while entering the address.
- View custom domain configuration issues that prevent emails from being sent or received under Help and Feedback settings.
- You can now select Google Meet as a conferencing option when creating, editing, or updating events.
- Preview email attachments without opening them in a separate application.
Zoho Mail mobile updates: iOS
- You can now include the original email message when you reply or reply all by enabling the Include Original Message option in Settings.
- You can now include the original email attachments when you reply or reply all by enabling the Include Original Attachment option in Settings.
- Choose how the reply header appears when replying to emails, with two options: Compact and Full.
- Translate email content into your preferred language from the list of supported languages in mail preview. Zoho Mail automatically detects the email's original language, and you can select your preferred language using the Translate option.
- Integrate Calendly to add and view events from both Calendly and Zoho Calendar.
Strict TLS for secure email communication in Zoho Mail
With Strict TLS, admins can ensure that all email communication within their organization is encrypted end-to-end. Apply the policy to incoming, outgoing, or both, with domain-level exceptions for precise control.
Multi-value sender IP address in rules and alerts
You can now add multiple sender IP addresses as conditions while creating rules and alerts in the Zoho Mail Admin Console. This allows you to verify more than one IP address in a single condition, without having to create separate conditions for each address.
Schedule meetings with your preferred conferencing platform
Create a seamless booking experience with support for multiple conferencing services with Zoho Calendar Slot Booking. You can now add meeting links from popular platforms such as Google Meet, Microsoft Outlook, Zoom, and Webex while setting up your booking pages.
Create custom categories for your meeting rooms
Go beyond the default room categories by creating custom categories in Zoho Calendar Resource Booking. Administrators can define categories that suit their organization's needs and assign them to rooms during setup. Once configured, users can filter rooms using these custom categories, making it faster to locate the most suitable room for their meetings.
Zoho Calendar mobile updates: Android
- Event attendees can now propose a new time for an event, allowing organizers to reschedule it based on the proposed time.
- When accepting calendar RSVP invites, you can now add a note with additional details.

You can now add attachments when creating events to share relevant information with event attendees.

You can now create a group chat with the participants to discuss the results and reach a consensus.

Introducing Zoho Office desktop
Zoho Office desktop app is a single application that lets you install, update, and uninstall the Zoho Writer, Zoho Sheet, Zoho Show, and Zoho PDF Editor desktop apps from one place. Zoho Office desktop app is available for macOS and Windows platforms.
Zoho Writer for Android: Q2 2026 updates
The latest update for mobile devices, closes the gap between mobile and web app with new formatting options, document scanning, and more collaboration tools. Whether you're editing on the go or reviewing with a team, Writer on Android now handles more of what you'd normally wait to do at your desk.
Zoho Sheet
Zoho Sheet desktop apps now support Excel’s native formula syntax
The Windows and macOS apps (Beta) of Sheet now support Excel's native formula syntax by default for offline files, for better compatibility. We've also expanded support for @ and # operators that help you work with dynamic array formulas easily. Use @ to return a single value from a range or array, and # to reference an entire spilled range, so your formulas stay up to date as your data changes.
Date picker now available on the Windows app
The Windows app (Beta) now supports date picker so you can select dates from a calendar and enter them accurately into the cells.
Zoho Connect
View comment edit history
All members can now view the edit history of comments. This makes it easier to see what changes were made to a comment after it was originally posted, improving transparency in conversations.
Record your screen directly in posts and comments
You can now record your screen using Quartz and share the recording directly in posts and comments. Whether you're explaining a process, demonstrating a feature, or reporting an issue, screen recordings make it easier to communicate visually.
Track external user license usage
Network admins can now view external user license consumption in the Usage Details page. This provides a clear overview of how many external user licenses are being used, helping admins track availability and manage licenses effectively.
Reassign responsibilities during member offboarding
Network admins can now reassign a member's roles in Groups, Manuals, and Task Boards directly from their user profile during off boarding. This helps ensure that important responsibilities are transferred to other members when someone leaves the network.
Control mentions and content access in groups
Group admins can now restrict mentions to group members, preventing non-members from being tagged or accessing group content through mentions.
Zoho Vault
Introducing recovery key
A recovery key is a secure backup that can be used to regain access if the master password is forgotten. Use it to set a new master password without losing the data stored in Vault.
