library materials form is down again ... whenever I make an edit to a field. this time, I changed currency for price field to USD (which is what it should be instead of indian currency) Please can u re-activate it. Also, can i make edits WITHOUT this happening? Leslie
Is there a way to sort a view on a field that is not displayed?
I added a numeric field to a file in order to explicitly control the sort order in a view. I don't want the user to see that field, but if I remove it from the view, it is not available to sort on. Is there a work around for this?
Column widths
I have a view with only a couple of columns, so want the widths to be small. I have tried setting the column widths as low as 1 pixel, but the widths remain wide. I must have a misconception about the Column Width setting.

Public Forms
I have embedded my form into a website for public access to gather data. However, when I log out of zoho.com the form disappears and a log-in window takes its place. How do I set my form to public so that it stays public all the time and is not linked to my zoho login status? I set this up for a friend under my personal email and would like to do the same for work under a second account I created for gathering conference registration data but if the form can't remain public it is useless for web

Can users of the free edition have a public application?
Hi, I just signed up today up for Zoho and am currently on the enterprise trial run. I have only one application, which is a registration form for a website I own. I want to make it a pubic application so that people who register to be volunteers via this form can sign up without having to create a zoho account. I only want to be able to access their responses to the registration form. Can I do this with the free version? That's the only thing I need: a public registration form where I can access

It appears to sort URL fields by URL rather than link name. Can one sort by link name? That seems more sensible than URL.
Amending export fields on creator
I want to export from Creator - ideally to an RSS feed. I want to remove certain fields so they don't get exported as they are not relevant and make the feed looks messy - ie. ID number, ip addresses etc. I can hide them on the contact view by hiding the column, but on export I cannot find a way of only exporting certain fields. Is this possible? Thanks Alistair
Fetch and update doesn't work

Embeding summary views into and HTML view
I want to build an HTML view that would look about like this Summary View 1 Summary View 2 View 3 View 4 I am not familiar with HTML. What is the very basic syntax to get the first two columns? How can I stop Summary view from expanding to take up full width (if Summary View 2 would be absent, for example).?
Settings Page throws error instead of validating the input

Update two records in two differents stateless forms
How can I can Update records in two forms by a stateless form by a stateless form? Those two forms are "Container" and "Sample Tracking". They are linked by a lookup field "Container" in "Sample Tracking". I want to update the lookup field "Container" and also some fields in the form "Container"...By cliking on a button "Attach Container" in the "Samples Received View". I don't figure out how can I can do to update the current record and also do the link to the record in "Container Form". Thank you
ZC Email Format Options?
Greetings, When a form is processed, I need to send an email out based on certain criteria. Is there anyway to have the email formated with any other than basic text? For example, I would like to have boxes, squares logo etc. If I can not originate out of Zoho Creator, can I use a different program in order to prepare and send a more advanced email format? Setting an autoindex for new items entered by form
I am very new to zoho and still trying to find my way around, but could anyone shed light on how to have an autoindex entry starting with the year of the date set in the form so that each entry can be indexed using the format: YYYYnnnn where nnnn is a four digit index number. Any help is much appreciated. Loving zoho so far.

Limiting Form Sign-ups
I'm new to Zoho and was wondering if there is a way to limit the number of people who can select an option on a form? I'm used Creator to create a form to allow my students to sign up for various instruction sessions. I used checkboxes as the function type, but want to limit each time slot to 15 students. Form access refused to application user
Hello, In my application, VirtuLIMS, a custom action "Enter Resulton "Under Testing View" lauch the "Sample Tracking" form in edit records mode. The user can not access to this form after have clicked on the "Enter Result" button. Why? And how can I let it accessed by users? Thank you

I read some posts 2 years ago that zoho.currentdate returns server date and time and that this will be changed. What does it return now? The date and time specified in the aplization timezone or the server time?

Hello, My application doesn't work properly for an user. My application VirtuLIMS. When he clicks on the Button "Open" in the "Batch View", it redirects him to the "parameter" tab. But it should open the URL for the " Per Batch View", with a criteria. I tried with an other user account and it works properly. Do you have nay idea of what's happening?

Data Missing in Account
I have a client with an application I have developed for them and they have just reported data missing from the database. It is significant. Is there anyway to track who deleted the data from the database? Or when the delete requests were made? column total from a loop...
The large 542.81 is meant to be a total of the column of amounts. As you can see it is displaying the last piece of information in the column rather than the total. form disappeared AGAIN!!!!!
OK. Whenever I make a minor change to a field the form disappears and is inaccessible. Is this going to happen every time I edit something? We need this form up ASAP. Library Materials request form. Adding columns to a report...
I am trying to make a change to the Expense Tracker app in marketplace. I have added it to my account and allowed access to support. There is a section called Expense Pie Chart that i want to make a change to. The application shows a table and a pie chart showing all expenses for a selected time period. I want to add more columns to the table. I was able to add the header rows to the table but cannot get any data to work. I get an error when i save the script. <tr class="zc-row-header">
Split long sript into multiple lines
I have several sripts that have lines that are horizontally very long. Curent behaviour of the free flow scripting is not consistent - sometimes it is displayed as one long line (tis is good - see next why!) or automatically brohen down into sections that fit on the screen. I hate when it is broken down. As then the light gray text that is editable is overlayed with the original unbroken text. So often I have to type 5 to 10 rows below where the actaul code is and this later code is simply on top
Script slowing down browser on IE
Without any changes to my application today my users have been getting a pop-up message asking to stop running the script because it's slowing down the IE browser. Have there been some recent modifications to Zoho Creator that could have caused this?
