Custom Field Automation
Here in Brazil, the "neighborhood" information in the address is very important, so we had to create a custom field for that. However, the information that is filled in the leads form is not migrated to accounts and contacts; and is not transfered from accounts to quotes. How to automatize this?
Treat emails attached to contacts the same as notes
We use the Outlook plugin to attach emails to contacts directly from Outlook, which works great because there is barely any change to the workflow, just two extra clicks. The problem is that once those emails are in Zoho they can be kind of hard to find. A typical situation for us is to know that we have an email from a contact at a company, but not remember who actually sent it months later. And we can have anywhere from 20-100 contacts at some of our accounts, so going through them 1 by 1 to
user permission to see part on contacts
I have grouped my contacts by creating views: Group1, Group2 and Group3 in 'Accounts'. I would like my new user to only see the information in Group1 of 'Accounts' and not Groups 2 and 3. I have tried to change the User Permission settings, but seems like i can either let her have permission to see 'Accounts' or not give her permission to do so. But I want her to only see part of 'Accounts'. Someone please help me ~ thank you!
Getting started with APIs
I have an API for my LMS (Learning Management System) and I'd like to integrate it with ZCRM. My only experience with APIs is here in Zoho. I've connected CRM with other Zoho apps, but all the work is done for you. I just copy and paste the provided key. Can someone point me to a document or help file to newbies, please? I've scoured the internet. All of the info I have found make assumptions about the reader's knowledge of working with APIs. Any direction will be greatly appreciated. DJ
List price and sales order
Hello, Is it possible to associate a List Price with a client? Each of our clients has a custom List price. When we order in zoho crm, we have to indicate for each product List price. Is it possible to associate a list price for each customer so that prices appear automatically in the order? Thank you very much!
Sent emails not attaching to Leads/Contacts
Hi, I'm new to Zoho CRM and have tried searching the forums and contacting support for this, but can't find an answer. Duplicate Records
Good afternoon, I have set up a report via my dashboard which appears to be pulling in duplicate records: From the screenshot attached there does not seem to be any correlation as to why these are appearing as duplicates. For example: L'Autre Pied - appears on the report 3 times. There is only one record. Resources in Zoho
Hi, I wonder how I can know the available resources in my Zoho CRM account using the Developer API. It seems that the API documentation (http://www.zoho.com/crm/help/api/api-methods.html) only provides the available methods but not the available resources that we can query from or how we can get the list of the available resources for querying. Creating a new lead view - it imported existing leads!
Hi - We've had trouble creating a new lead view - it imported existing leads which we do not want in this view - can any one please help with the following pretty please? 1. how can we create a view without doing this? 2. Am I able to export a contact list from Zoho to Microsoft excel, add a new column and then re upload the data into Zoho with the new updated field? If so will the contact list be updated? and how do I it?
How to limit delete right?
While I wish everyone from the company can be able to read all entries in the database, how can I limit the authority to alter (as in changing the owner of e.g. an Account) or delete (as one accidentally duplicated an entry) an entry if the entry was not created by the user? i.e. non-creator should be deprived of any rights to delete other's entry, while creator should have all authority to make whatever changes.
Attachments to potentials
is there anyway of having an attachments option in the potentials section. I need to be able to add different word docs to each potential so that thye are kept in one place and nt just all listed in the account
Contact names are quadrupled on certain accounts in Account and Contact Report, why?
In a CRM tabular Account and Contact report I have selected the following columns: Account Owner, Account Name, First Name, Last Name,Email and Phone. Why is the output report showing the same name of contacts 4X????? Stranger is that it isn't quadrupling the number of actual contacts for all records. I confirmed the names are not duplicated at the Account level.

New to Zoho & need some help re leads and accounts
Hi All, I joined Zoho yesterday and am trying to copy information so I always have it in one place. For instance in my LEADS I have lots of information including Facebook, Twitter, Skype ID etc. I have these same fields in ACCOUNTS but when I convert to an account, these fields all remain empty... how do I ensure all information is transferred over? "Potential" Column Disappear from Purchase Order Display View
I have created "Potential" lookup field in Purchase Order Tab and added "Potential" in the display view that the staffs can easily view which "Potential" asscociate with the purchase order. It was working fine since two days ago data in the "Potential" column suddenly disappeared. Column heading "Potential" still stayed but the whole column is blank. Notes missing after Deleting Fields
Help! I have deleted a few unused custom fields from both my leads and prospects sections. I have now noticed that all of the notes associated with each of my prospects and leads have disappeared! Contacts to be associated with multiple accounts
Is Zoho going to add the functionality to have a single contact be associated to multiple accounts? We have many customers that have multiple locations/business and they need to be associated to multiple accounts. Most CRM's have this functionality. We love this system but this is a big problem for us.
Web-to-leads form - Case Origin Error
Hello, Last week I generated a web-to-leads form for my website. The form was tested and worked fine. Last night and this morning I have been receiving an error whenever anyone tried to submit the form reading 'Case Origin cannot be none.' See the image below. I have tried regenerating the code, changing the optional fields, deleting and re-imputing the code but keep getting the same error. I would be extremely grateful for any assistance. Thank you!
Synching contacts from Zoho to gmail
I had contacts synching from Zoho to gmail and it is now not working. I have followed the instructions to try to refresh the interface and still does not seem to work. Can you advise on how I might fix this as it is causing a real problem.

API getFields not returning Id fields
When I use getRecords, I get back Id fields like (e.g. on Potentials) POTENTIALID SMOWNERID ACCOUNTID etc. Why don't I get metadata for those fields when I use getFields ?
Can I create a "View" or Report that viewable to the public via a link?

Why is there not an option to add Outlook contacts to Zoho Leads (why only to Contacts). If you can add contacts to Leads with the iPhone app, why not with Outlook plug-in? Why can't I add "Home Phone" to a Case?
I am using Cases to record technical problems logged by Contacts. Some are at Home (Residential) and others are at Work. Under Contacts i record Home Phone or Phone (which is work phone) When I log a Case , there is only an option for Phone (Work Phone) Even in Customization - Layout, there is no option to add in Home Phone to a Case. I even upgraded to Pro version trial but no joy. I am left with the only option of re-importing records and pointing Home Phone records to the Zoho "Phone(Work Phone)

How to add target list in campaign?
I am new to zoho and my aim is to use it mainly for tracking marketing campaigns. I own an estate agency and we do have quite a volume of marketing going out every month. I understand the meaning of leads in zoho but my question is this. When I do a targeted campaign with letters to hundreds of people do I add them in zoho as leads or do I keep them in the csv file and add the file in the campaign?
