Need help understanding importing xls feature
Hi, I need to import my leads from an existing xls file that I am currently using to track customers. I've read the online help and have a bit of gray area. There's a table that states the mandatory fields, but I'm not sure how this works, is there an exact picture example what this looks like in excel? Do I have to input the fields in the exact order as shown? Why are there multiple columns in the table with multiple mandatory fields? I'm hoping I can just plug the field wherever my column is.

Converted Leads Creating Two opportunities
Starting last week sometime, we're seeing that when we create opportunities as we convert Leads to Accounts (we call them opportunities... can't remember what the original Zoho term is) they are often being created twice as opposed to once. Any idea why this may be?

Attaching to Lead or Contact
It would be great if Zoho had a ability to attach an email to a Lead or Contact . When I receive invoice or some information about client's delivery I could just attach it to the Lead or Contact (the Client) this option is available in Sugar CRM I noticed that Zoho is much better but it's strange that that option is not avalible.. I can't add a custom field?
I am trying to add a field onto the Leads page, the details of it are below; Label: State Section Name: Lead Information Length: 20 Also create for: Nothing Upon clicking save I get a message: "Field in the specified label already exists for Leads" I know for a fact there is no field in Leads called "State". I have looked on the edit fields page, as well as edit layout page. This is not the first time a message like this has come up. Can I use a field, called "State", in the Leads page?

Web form that can populate a Product instead of a field
I run a SaaS business and we have tied Zoho CRM to the subscription sign up process for our service. The process is straight forward. When a new subscriber signs up I want a new lead record created in Zoho that shows what subscription plan ("product") they signed up for. The problem is that I only see custom or existing data fields that I can add to a web form. I can't add a product from the product module to a form.How do I do this? Does this need to be done with the developer API?

How can copy addresses from Accounts to Contacts?
I imported hundreds of records to a new CRM yesterday. My import included Account addresses, I did not import addresses for the Contacts. Now I want to see the Account address on the Contact page. I want to copy and paste, but ofcourse doing this manually will take forever. I am looking for an efficient way to copy the addresses from hundreds of Accounts to hundreds of Contacts. I'm thinking the Sheet View can help me, but I don't know exactly how. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. DJ
Creating CRM records containing custom fields using API
Hi, Is it possible to create values for custom fields using the Zoho CRM API? I have successfully created records which contains values for the standard fields, but my custom fields always come through as blank. The custom fields appear when I GET data from the API, and I have used that to check the format of my XML, but the fields still appear blank when I write.

This might be silly or it might be genius
I have created a PDF editable (so my clients can fill in the blank information) using abode acrobat Pro. I would like to know if there is anyway to embed Zoho CRM into that form so that no matter who fills it out it or where it is downloaded from then hits submit in the PDF it will be sent to my CRM. Different types of Sales Orders?
Our company sells a lot of completely different products. When filling out Quotes, Sales orders and Invoices I don't want to go through a big list of irrelevant fields. For example one department selling and setting up websites, another organising printing of banners, posters etc. Perhaps a way to make certain fields invisible to particular users? I don't want to buy a different Zoho account, as we contact many of the same clients. Please get back me if anyone has any ideas. Thanks in advance.
Can I make logged calls list on an Account page?
It would be very helpful to list recently logged calls on an account page similar to how notes work. Alternatively, could I make a sort of system to copy the description from logged calls over to a note automatically. We could manage simply manually copying the description, but if we could streamline our CRM it would be helpful rather than double our workload by writing notes twice.

Expected Profit based on Expected Revenue and Probabiliy?
I really like the expected revenue based on probability. I think it's a realistic way to see the revenue pipeline based on what stage a potential is at. i would, however, like to also create an "expected profit" based on probability too. example, i have a $100K potential with a 10% profit margin that is 50%. The estimated revenue would be $50K thus the expected profit would now be $5K. It would be a great way to quickly see a realistic free cash flow for the forecast report. Any ideas on how
Replacing Chinese pick list values
All the pick list values in Zoho CRM have defaulted to Chinese text. Is there a way to change them to the English defaults? I could go through them one-by-one, but that will take hours. Alternatively, since I just started using the system, can I just reset it so that the database is initialized with the English defaults? I changed to Locale to the USA, but that hasn't changed the pick list values to English. Thanks!
Task reminder Notify email not working
Though I have my email correctly entered in my user profile, the Notify Email of Task Reminder does not seem to work at all. Is there anything that needs to be defined elsewhere? Is there a way to test whether sending mail from this feature works properly? Also, how can the time of sending be defined? ie: If I need to call back my customer at 9pm next Friday, I need the system to send me a task reminder email at 8:45 for instance. Select only certain Gmail for Zoho CRM import using Zoho Mail Add on
Please can anyone help. Is it possible to manually select or pre-filter based on labels the actual Gmails that are brought into Zoho CRM via the Zoho Mail Add On. Simply put, I don't want all my Gmails in Zoho but the Zoho Mail Add On brings them all in as soon as a match is made based on a contact e-mail address. I don't want to manually delete the emails from Zoho CRM. Help!

I'm a bit tired of having to manually "sign" inside the CRM add-on each time I fire outlook (and no I don't wan't to keep outlook always opened in the background).
