How to convert Lead into Account in zoho crm?
Hi, I have two Zoho CRM instances and I am facing a strange problem. From one instance, when I convert Lead, It is converted into Account, Contact and Potential (Optional). But from other Instance, when I convert Lead, it is only converted into Contact and Potential (Optional), is not converting into Account as well. I want to convert Lead into Account, Contact and Potential. What is the problem? I am not using any deluge script or any thing else. Please help. Thanks
Remove hotel reservation in meeting page
Hi ! I am new at Zoho so maybe I have done something wrong. I am a paying user. Yet I recieve push ads to book hotels whenever I set a meeting in Zoho Events. The problem is, I did not find how to disable this service. I think it is absolutely not normal that I have to receive ads when I already pay a monthly subscription. Moreover, I am concerned about the privacy of my data. If tripadvisor can access the addresses at which I organize meetings my data is probably not safe with Zoho. Please explain
Duplicate contacts using Outlook Sync
When we use Outlook Sync add-in and two users have the same contact, Zoho creates duplicate contacts one for each user even though it is the same contact. Is there a setting or a way to prevent this where we only have one primary contact in Zoho assigned to one owner even though individual users may have that contact in their outlook?
Percentage Formula - customer field
Hi I am trying to create a customer formula field. We want to input a sales price of £500. If the Lead Type is 'Self Gen' we want the formula field to work out 60% of £500 i.e. £300. If the Lead Type is any other type of lead we want the formula field to work out 40% of £500 i.e. £200. Please can you tell me the formula I need to achieve this, thanks, Jamie

Is there an email field in the accounts section of free Zoho CRM
Hi I'm halfway through importing contacts into the free Zoho CRM and I've realised that there doesn't seem to be an email field in the accounts section. When I try to drag an email field over from the customisation section, it says that this is for paid version only. There are email fields for the individual contacts but I have generic account emails that I'd like to add. I like Zoho but I'm just starting out and would rather not pay $40/month just for this feature. I'd appreciate any advice Nick
Can I create a new field in Quotes under product details?
We use the list price, then apply a discount. We need to show the product's price AFTER the discount has been applied. Is there any way to create a field to be shown on the quote template that will be the result of the list price minus the discount? (not the line total, but the per piece price after discount).
Changes to Zoho CRM?
Yesterday I noticed quite a few unannounced changes to Zoho CRM. Why didn't I receive a notice about these changes? One major problem is that the Create Contact form is not tabbing properly. It is skipping the Mailing Street, City, State and Zip fields completely.

Scheduling an individual email
I found it odd that i could only schedule mass emails but couldn't do it for single recipient messages. Am i not doing something right or is there a way around it. Secondly, i wanted to pick the specific contacts to mass email but the drop down list didn't have that option? I'll appreciate a response. Thanks
Email Template Price List
Is it possible to send a price list to a contact within CRM that includes predefined inventory items and price? It seems as if you can only do so if you've actually added items to a quote, PO or SO for that lead/potential. I want to be able to send this email that contains all items in a price list and not have to add them to the contacts records first. How could we do this?

How do I set up the CRM to account for multiple items on a purchase order received?
Hi, Currently, we have set up the CRM so that each order we get is a PROJECT. Under the PROJECT we have it set up so that you can enter details such as FOB costs, exchange rates, shipping quotes, actual shipping costs, etc... Usually this is OK as we receive a purchase order from a client for 1 product. So each PROJECT is for one purchase order. Unable to update Potential 'Amount' from Potential 'Type'
Hi Guys, I am trying to set-up a field update rule, based on when a Potential 'Type' is created or edited - we make some assumptions about how much the potential might be worth from a list of survey questions. The categories of 'Type' are a direct association to our survey review. When I reach the point of creating the field update on the workflow rule, the field I'd like to update is the Potential 'Amount', but this field cannot be selected from the list. Assign Territories to Accounts Not Working
I've created a Territory for the State of Kentucky. When I go into Assign Territories to Accounts I select "Use My Own Criteria", I then select "Billing State Is KY". It then brings up all matching accounts. When I run the rule to automatically assign the Territory I get the email saying it's completed a few minutes later. View editor: cycle through filter names by hitting first letter broken
Hi Support When I create a view and add a filter, I would like to hit the first letter of the field and have the highlighted row jump to the first one with the matching letter in the order they are displayed, then if I hit the letter again it jumps to the next one etc... If you see from the screenshots, this doesn't happen, here I have hit 'c' once and it jumps WAY down the list. If I hit C again it jumps back UP the list and from there no change. I think your tab order or whatever it's called when

Hi, I'm using Zoho free account to evaluate the system. I wanted to test lead collecting via contact form. I've created a contact form and in integration module I have assigned fields that supposed to be collected in Zoho CRM leads module. Then embedded that contact form on a website. The form script seems to be working fine however leads are not showing up in Zoho CRM/Leads. I would appreciate if someone could help me understand what's the problem here. Thanks
Appt. Date & Time... field will not stay blank (as of today)
I have a field that is titled, "Appt. Date & Time" and the corresponding fields (before today) would let me change the date and time, or leave it blank. But as of today I cannot change it and leave it blank! I imagine it has something to do with an update. Does someone else have the same problem? Fix?

Auto determine County from US Zip
Hi all, as a sales rep I have certain territories for multiple different lines. One new line has provided me exclusivity with counties in SoCal (San Diego County, Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside, San Bernadino, Santa Barbara, and Ventura), I have a list of all the zip codes associated with each of the counties however there are too many zip codes to create a single report giving me a list of all accounts for the given region (Zoho limits 25). Need to Change Sender In EMail Template--How Do I Do This?

Fields required before changing Status
Hi all, is there a way to 'force' users to complete certain fields before changing a record status? I don't want to use mandatory fields option as it might be that a 'contact' was created without an email address but this same field now need to be filled before user change 'status'? Stop parent accont from overwriting child account address
Hi Many of my users have found an issue with assigning parent accounts. When a perent account is to an existing (or newly created Account) both the billing and shipping adresses are over written. Personally I can't think any reason that would be useful and it is wasting hours of our users time having to correct the adresses. Can this be fixed. Thanks Dan

I am trying to order the tabs in my tab group. I have a tab that contains all my Creator reports and I want then ordered like they are in the before image - Home, Client Briefs, SRAC, Call Sheets and no Projects but when I save the order it gets reordered Home, Call Sheets , SRAC, Client Briefs with Projects added on. Discount applied after taxes is an accounting aberration!
Hi, In all modules in ZOHO CRM (Quotes, PO, SO, Invocies) an overall Discount can be applied in addition to the discounts per product. It's great and useful. A big issue though is that you put it AFTER taxes. In addition to not fit any financing/accounting standard, it messes with all possible reports. Piloting the business in this context is VERY hard. There can't be any clear view on the cash. It's a strong drawback for ZOHO, renders it almost useless because for any business, particularly SMBs,
