I would love to be able to attach an email to an account instead of a contact person. This would make it much easier for us to all view the communications happening with a client / company, not just an individual. I am having problems with the Zoho CRM Microsoft Outlook Plug-In. I was able to install and setup the Plug-In correctly I believe in Microsoft Outlook, but contacts are now being created in Zoho CRM when an email is sent from MS Outlook. A contact is created and appears under Contacts in Zoho CRM but no other information is populated in the fields; for instance only the name is there (for instance "rfairley" ) which matches the beginning of their email address; but no phone numbers. I recently tried the Zoho Mail Add-On to monitor my emails for account related messages. At the same time I added the Outlook Plugin to help sync contacts and calendar items to Zoho. I setup the Outlook plugin to create new leads from unknown contacts by choosing the Leads drop-down in the email section of the plug-in. The Plugin seems to have ignored that setting and created new Contacts and Accounts for all those unknown contacts which synced to Zoho books and Zoho Campaigns, making it an absoluteComment Template Inside of Call For Twilio
Hi. We have just started using the twilio integration with crm and find that we have to type the same notes over and over and over on a call. Although the integration is EXTREMELY nice; we would really like to have a custom call note or "quick note" implemented" so were not having to type the same ones in each time. We've started having a new problem in the past week or so. We added the plugin for MS Outlook and it's been working fine for the past 5 months. Now, a new iteration of "Send and Add To Zoho CRM" is created in the Zoho CRM menu bar every time we create a new email. We've uninstalled and re-installed the plugin, but the problem persists. Hi guys, just purchased the professional edition for our company to start with. The Zoho Outlook plug-in does not look for partial matches when attempting to add an email to a Zoho contract record from Outlook. This necessitates manually altering the suggested string in order to find the right contact (or a suggested list of contacts in the case of multiple hits). I am looking to start testing out the Phonebridge for our Asterisk phone system. I am still curious on how it all works and looks when it is done. I have raw contacts that I call to see if there is interest in my company's services. if there is no interest and no point in calling further, are there fields built into Zoho to use to manage this? Hello! I and the CEO both are admin on the CRM. We both can see emails of other colleagues who are not admins. But he cannot see my emails even though I have set them as "Public" in the ZOHO Mail Add-on settings (just like other colleagues whose emails we both can view). We require that this colleague (the admin) is able to view my emails associated to my contacts/leads/accounts. We use our company's domain emails and not the ZOHO domain email addresses for anything. I am using the Zoho Plug In for Outlook 2013 and find that my Add-Ins toolbar where the plug in resides has vanished. When I go to view and manager the Microsoft Office Add-Ins it shows me that the Zoho CRM Plug-in is "Inactive" but it cannot be activated and the toolbar will not reload. HI, I'm managing multiple users in Zoho and they all want to be able to see the contacts of each other. I have managed this with the Data Sharing Option so each user form the same role can view/edit contact from each others but when I sync with Outlook, I can't retreive the contact from the others, only the one I have created. I've got ZohoCRM installed on my Google Apps domain and synchronization over various aspects (calendar, contacts, email) working properly. However, when I try to attach a file from GDrive like a PDF or a PNG, the GDrive dialog on ZohoCRM closes without any error but I cannot see the file attached to the contact or the account. I've realized that if I select a GDocs spreadsheet or document,it gets attached correctly...but with other types of documents I couldn't manage to attach any file. When we receive emails with requests from new leads they are sent either it info or salesrep. directly. In order to create the new lead and add email we want use 'Add Email' button. But it always adds it only to the exiting contacts of our info and salesrep. (another Zoho CRM problem, as users should be contacts too, or be linked at least) and doesn't create the lead for the sender of the email. That's not logic? We're in the middle of our trial and the mail integration is important to us. We've spent 3 days now letting ZOHO load some 20,000 emails from gmail into ZOHO so those emails can be tied to customers. Apparently though, when an email is deleted from ZOHO mail it is removed from the customer record. Is there some way to stop that from happening? Hello, I have gone through the past couple of years noticing my Outlook Plugin for Zoho disappears from my toolbar. I have looked in the Outlook Options>Add-Ins section to find it in the "Inactive Application Add-ins" section. I have reactivated the Zoho Plugin, and it stays for a while. Then it randomly disappears again. I have tried the alternative method far too many times of uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin.
