User Passwords
Is there any way that I can over-rule the 'reset password' function for my users, or control their passwords? At the moment to keep the CRM locked down to location (users can only use CRM whilst in the office), I set a password that only I, as administrator, know. Subsequently, users cannot access the system outside the office. This is how we want it kept. It seems that there is nothing to stop them requesting a new password - which only they will know as it will come to their e-mail- giving them
Idea about inserting saved email content/creative into body of email
Please concider the following: When a user is creating an email within a record allow them to add saved content/creative to the email. Maybe a button that is titled "Insert Saved Text" that brings up a window and allows you to select one or multiple selections of saved creative/content/text. Also, an option to save a email after it has been sent as a template and after saving an opton to share with others. This along with Attach From Group Docs would be great.
Changing or updating CEO information
Is it possible to change the CEO information, mainly the email information. I need to change the registered information. Is there a way to do that?

BUG: In assigning tasks
Picture attached. I assigned a task from within potential. On the main screen in Open Tasks table "Related to" points to Potentials. There is going to be missing icon (sign that something went wrong) Clicking on the Name in "Related To" will give me permission error. Opening the task and saving again - removed the permission problem (I had at least 4 incidents like this and I run CRM under Admin) Pic attached
setting up zoho mail add-on
I was unable to configure the mail add on in Zoho CRM. I trieds using both IE and Chrome. I had to go to zoho mail and set it up there. The tab is visiablein CRM and looks good but I am unable to find where to set the frequency of POP retrieval.
Customer vs Partner Designation
Our business has customer and partner (ISV) relationships - how do I differentiate between the two in Zoho CRM? The acquisition funnel and management of the relationship is obviously very different. Looking for a recommended approach or best practice. Thanks!
Email Detail History
Please advise the difference on the Email Detail History under a contact has the "showing fields" What is the difference between showing "sent emails from CRM" and showing emails form a user? I want all emails listed and shown. Please advise if I am missing something here.
Fetching mail from Gmail POP for the first time
When I first set myself up with the mail add-on and configured the gmail POP I remember it taking a couple days to fully download all the mail. After yesterdays Gmail blackout and the anticipation of the upcomming release I decided I would enable the email add-on for the rest of the users in our organization. Stuck on my first attempt, it seems as tho it grabbed about 200 emails this morning and has stopped. I have attempted to fetch several times since then and have left the window open.
Intuitive reminder field
PLEASE make the task reminder field smarter. Current set up: won't let you close an activity if reminder date is past due - this is crazy coz if you are closing a task there is no need for the reminder does not add a default reminder date - i can live with that but would be nice to have it set to Task Date (even just a "remind when due" checkbox would be nice) doesn't change Reminder Date if if you change the Task Date - reminder Date should also changeThanks for a great system - lets make it an
Auto-email handling
If a customer keeps emailing us, is there a function in CRM to automatically attach all her emails into a single case? I know the email-to-case function, but the auto-email handling rules are more complicated.... Some case management systems can do this, like Kana.... But I wanted to find out if Zoho CRM can do it too... thanks.
Data sharing rule for Task / Events
I wonder if anyone from zoho crm team could comment on when the data sharing will be available for tasks / events? This is really a hindrance for team collaboration in a start up company. All tasks for founders are visible either to the task owner only or to everyone. This is a major issue in a team where some members should be only seeing certain tasks and not others. Thanks

Not getting Sent Mail
I've setup the CRM ZOHO email module and I'm really pleased that it's available. I've set up a POP with my Gmail and account and I'm able to fetch all received emails in the GMail account. However, since July 17th I can not fetch any mail sent from my GMail account. Why? Any solutions?

Physical dispatch
I am trialling CRM, and it works fantastic. I am using the sales order function, I'd like to have the ability to convert the sales order into a dispatch note (for use in our small warehouse) - with no prices or invoice address details etc on it. Once the order has been filled, i'll then convert it into an invoice. Sync CRM and Personal contacts
I've looked for an answer to this question but cannot find anything definitive. Is it possible to synchronize my contacts between Z CRM and Z Personal? The reason I ask is that I have a .VCF file (generated by Palm Desktop) which Z Personal imports beautifully -- it identifies all the fields correctly without asking me to map anything. Hello, Just curious, please clarify: I know that the Enterprise edition had the ability to update a field through the Workflow field update feature. ZohoCRM and Safari
Hi guys, I am noticing a few anomalies with ZohoCRM & Safari (4.0.2 - latest version as of today) on Mac OS X. I went to add a line item to an existing invoice (which already had an item) and pressing the button doesn't do anything. Used Firefox and everything is fine. I have noticed similar issues in one or two places (can't remember exactly where). Aren't you testing it on Safari / Mac OS X? Platform neutrality is one reason why I love Zoho! Kenneth

API: fetching data from event table
Hi, I'd like to ask you for change in API. Right now you provided lastModifiedTime paramter to fetch the data thru API in most cases it is very suitible and enough. Adding contacts is broken
I wanted to test out the zoho mail plugin for crm and see sent received emails under a contact. so i signed up for the free edition and paid for the plugin subscription After I create a contact with a name and email it takes me to a plain text page with a bunch of garble in the description field, that's problem one. Old and new problem with sheetviews 1. Accounts - created some new views. When you got to sheetview they are all out of order. They do not appear in the same order as shown on the regular CRM screen 2. After modifying data nothing is saved 3. Line Item Notes Needed

You can clone profiles, which is great, but offering the option to clone the accompanying filed level security settings would be even better. We have a few profiles that are very similar besides access to a few certain fields; it's an administrative burden to have to completely reproduce the field level security settings for each profile. Mapping Fields
When I convert a lead into an account is there any way it can populate the account information with the default contact persons details? The majority of my leads/accounts only have one contact person and although it lists their details under "contact person" I have to manually imput all their info again into the main account information text box which is left blank when I convert from a lead. I have tried to map the fields but it doesnt allow me to map things like the surname etc.
