Syncing Outlook with CRM - Handling conflicts
Is it really true that you have to decide which side "wins"? Zoho doesn't figure that out on it's own, recording timestamps, etc to know which one was updated last, and which was was not updated since the last sync? If this is true, this is a deal-breaker. Can someone verify this please? Thanks. PS - Yes, I know you can set it to ask you about each conflict. That's also pretty stupid... with several people doing updates, ONE person sits there and goes through the sync process guessing what the other

Is there a way to map dependency fields from Accounts to Contacts and other modules?
Related Contacts For Tasks and Events
When creating a task/event on an opportunity (or really Invoices, Quotes, etc...) the Contact field should be prepopulated with the associated Contact name, if one exists. At the least, when hitting the Contact search (to add a contact) Zoho should initially offer a list of associated/relevant Contacts. This would make creating tasks on other items much quicker. What is a Customer/Client considered in this nomenclature?
I'm confused about where we find our customers in this application. We have leads, and some leads become customers. So how do I convert a lead to a customer? Account? Contacts? It's not clear to me. Thanks.

Hello Zoho, Will it ever be possible to select from multiple "Available Merge Fields" when creating an email template, similar to what you can do with Inventory Templates. I would like to create an email template from Opportunities and be able to merge Account fields and other related modules. Is this something you plan to add soon? Thanks! David

Api has bug. lastModifiedTime doesn't work - always gets all records I should get nothing. I can't see the pdf file attachment on the receiving email (though it appears to be set up properly at the front end) 2. Automatic Reminder
How would I setup a reminder on the due date of a task that either sends an email to the assignee or pops up a message? So for example I will setup a task that requires someone to follow up with a Lead based on a due date, how will the person know that the due date has arrived? Will Zoho email them on the due date and if so at what time of the day will this email be sent out? I hope I am making sense.

Activity History Permissions

CRM email - adding a new conatct via email
Using the new feature to "add to CRM" a email from my inbox to the CRM It grabs the name and email address, but the actual email is no where to be found. I need the email added to know what the lead was interested in... When I add it to the CRM it adds it as a CONTACT, I need it to add as a LEAD. IS there anything that can be done here also? Missing Feature
Hello, We have been using ZOHO CRM Enterprise and find one major issue, our Managers cannot keep updated to developments in individual Potentials/ Leads/ Quotes. They have to be updated by colleagues, juniors offline and given link in CRM to posted updates. This becomes a very big headache when juniors, bosses are travelling and cannot have face-to-face sessions. Please implement a "Company Updates" feature for people to keep abrest with developments.

I am the administrator on on our CRM. I have the mail add on working fine. My colleague is also activated, can see the email tab, and appears o see all the right options. However, emails from her aaccount are not neing associated with the relevant contact. Although this is working fine for me. Probably someting I have failed to do but I cannot see what it is.
