Way to track sales of a computer shop?
Hello. I work for a computer service / computers shop and printer outlet shop here in Romania. We started using the Zoho CRM (only Free Edition for the moment) in order to keep better track of our sales, customers, and service task history. We started keeping the Service actions as tasks and fully customised the layout in order to describe the problem, get task status, and everything else. Now, we want to integrate sales tracking into the CRM and I want to be able to differentiate them. The problem
tested with "free" version....now have different paid version: Can't add members becuase "email address already in use"
I can't add users to our CRM, because I previously had a "test" ZOHO CRM, and invited certain users to it. Now, I want to add them to our paid company version, but can't because their email was used in the other free version, which is now deleted (yes, I completely deleted that account). ?? Obviously, I need to add our employees to the CRM as users. What's the fix or workaround?
Number of Licenses
Hi There I have 5 licenses that I am paying for every month. But I only have one active user. How do I add a new user without increasing the number of licenses? It seems wrong that I can make a user inactive (as they no longer work here), but can't re use their license. Please help Thanks Alan
Can I generate quote with a discount rate linked to a "Discount" field in Contact ?
Hi, I have customers with several level of distribution and volume, and each one with a specific discount rate that applies on the fixed price list. I would like to apply automatically this discount rate from this discount field in Contact when I generate a Quote from within this contact, but I don't know how to do. At the moment, I have to put manually the discount in each Quote. Same questions would be for the tax level to apply to a Contact. Is it possible to link a field in Contact (or Account)

If an inside sales rep wants to an outside sales rep through an email notice about an important development on an opportunity, what is the best way to go about it in Zoho CRM? I've considered adding a note to the opportunity but this does not send out an email notice. Search not finding contacts
Hi We have suddenly found that leads / contacts etc which we worked on recently are not appearing in the search results. But if we load the same client as a lead, and convert the lead to a new potential, CRM picks up the contact. So it seems that the search function is not finding the contact, although the data is on CRM. Is anyone else having this problem? Is it a general issue that Zoho is aware of?

Hello, I'm thinking about using Zoho for a B2C solution. It looks like that is possible to setup, I think by making the Account field optional. There will, however, be some accounts that I do want listed as Companies. Will that still be possible if setup for B2C? Also, do lead gen web forms still work for B2C? Hi, We start using Zoho CRM and actually using Professionnal Edition. I've seen about limit of 20 000 for import Data and i would like understanding what mean this limit exactly ? We use French setting language. When we use import option for leads, it tells us that the limit is "20 000 par lot" that we understant as "20000 max for each treatment (file)" Is it how it works ? Reassign notes & activities for a contact person that leaves the organization
What are you doing in such cases? I have created notes for contact persons about phone calls and meetings. And now this guy is leaving the organization. The notes are part of his old company and I want these notes to be reassigned to his successor. Is there a way in Zoho CRM to do this? Or what are you doing to prevent this from happening? Importing Contacts - Overwriting
I am trying to batch update contacts with one of a drop down field by creating a csv file with just account name, first name, last name and the drop down field I am trying to change. Before importing, I choose the overwrite option, however instead of overwriting the existing contact, it creates a completely new one with just those 4 fields specified. How can I adjust the contact listing under Accounts? I'd prefer to see job title vs fax# etc.
Under Accounts contacts are listed, but some of the columns are not useful to me, e.g. fax#. I'd even remove Mobile# in favor of job title. Is there a way I can adjust the columns that display in the summary contact listing?

Hello, I have setup my Gmail integration with Zoho and I can now view my emails within Zoho. However, when I am in an account or contact and click on their email, I get a window telling me that Outlook is not setup. Why if Gmail is set up and activated would it be telling me that Outlook is required? Any assistance appreciated. Jaques
