Webhooks, how to capture current logged in user?
Hi there, I have a need to capture the current logged in user who triggered a webhook, and send that id in the webhook. I tried capturing the "last modified by" but it gives me id I can't use. My workflow is like this: userA owns a contact. userB causes a webhook to trigger on that contact. it calls an external script that i use to manipulate the API. This api call does a number of things, but one of them is it needs to create a case that has the current logged in userB as the owner. As it is

API Problem with insertRecords - Need fix ASAP

EMERGENCY BUG: Zoho just completely broke the API integration (again)
We have a couple of independent CRM accounts, and the API integration is completely broken as of around 12:00 GMT. Note that one of these integrations has worked fine for over two years (except for other occasions where Zoho pushed code to production without warning that suddenly broke something). This time, when attempting to generate a ticket, I get this error: # #Thu May 19 08:13:08 PDT 2011 CAUSE=Maximum Concurrent User Tickets Limit Exceeded RESULT=FALSE There is no mention of this error anywhere

Suggestion: Create wrappers that support *all* the functionality of the API methods
Hi there, I have run into this a lot. The wrappers are GREAT, they *could* save me a lot of hassle dealing with generating tickets and writing a lot of code. But the problem is, that often I find I need some of the functionality of the api method that the wrapper does not support. Main example is with insertRecords which supports "on duplicate, update" similar to the functionality in MySQL. However the wrapper does not. It is frustrating. Thanks, David

Hello I am trying to use the API system to simply retrieve one PRE-DETERMINED Invoice number at a time. Along with that request I am including some basic fields. Hi, I am using the getRelatedRecords API call to get Notes related to a Potential (I provide a deluge PostURL call sample below for anyone who is interested)...but it would obviously be so much handier if there was a wrapper API call - that way I wouldn't have to get hold of an API Key and ticket each time. So, I wonder could someone confirm that there is no wrapper for getRelatedRecords, and that being so... is it in the Roadmap for the future? Here is the sample code snipppet as promised above...
