Zoho Projects Resource Allocation & Sick Leave
Hi there, I've assigned a task to a user, putting in a start date of Wed 1st Feb to the Wed 8th Feb and assigned that user 20 hrs to do in that timeframe. The user has put in sick leave for Fri 3rd Feb in Zoho people (Therefore unable to do the no. ofUnable to add new task via API - Input Parameter Missing

Currently, I created a table in analytics where i enter manually the times linked to the task id. It is really painfull though. Is it possible to log time on projects for external user (only for tracking purpose, those users do not require any access to the tool). I was quite sure that in the past when I upload a document in a comments I always found it in the docs list of the project. Recently I have the impression is not working anymore like that. There is a link between Zoho People - Performance - Skills and Skillsets and Zoho Projects - Users. In the user page of Zoho Projects the skillset of a user appears in his User Page. We have integrated Zoho Projects with Office 365 which is great as tasks can now appear in Outlook calendars, however, if a task is moved, or assigned to a different person the changes are not reflected in Outlook. Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. To customize, navigate to Task & Timesheet settings under Portal Configuration in Zoho Projects setup and enableCatch Zoho Projects' New Video Series!

I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion. All you have to do is, click the Task Sorting option and select the required criteria. Few points to be noted about task sorting: This option is available in the Classic View only (within My Tasks, Tasks & Milestones section).
