Overview
Sponsors play a crucial role in events by providing financial or in-kind support, helping to enhance the event's quality, reach, and overall attendee experience while gaining visibility and brand recognition among the target audience. Learn how to add and manage sponsors in Zoho Backstage with this guide.
Follow these steps to add a sponsor, select a package, and update contact information:
- Navigate to Manage > Sponsors > All Sponsors from the Dock.
- Click the Add Sponsor button. The Add Sponsor panel will display.

- Provide the following details:
- Company Name: Enter the sponsor company/organization’s name.
- Website URL: Provide the sponsor’s website.
- Sponsored Amount: Enter the amount being sponsored.
- Sponsor Logo: Upload the sponsor’s logo.
- Description: Add a description of the sponsor.
- Contact Details: Enter the sponsor’s contact information.
- Sponsor Categories:
- If sponsor categories are set up, select the appropriate Sponsor Type based on the sponsored amount.
- Click Done.

Sponsors added before setting up sponsor categories will default to the Basic category.
To view more details about a sponsor:
- Navigate to Manage > Sponsors > All Sponsors from the Dock.
- Click the View button for the sponsor. The Sponsor Details panel will be displayed.

Modify sponsor details such as the category or sponsorship amount:
- Navigate to Manage > Sponsors > All Sponsors from the Dock.
- Click the Edit button for the sponsor. The Edit Sponsor panel will display.

- Make the required changes.
- Click Done.
To remove a sponsor and refund any received amount:
- Navigate to Manage > Sponsors > All Sponsors from the Dock.
- Click the dropdown menu for the sponsor and select Delete. The Remove Sponsor dialog box will appear.
- Click Remove.
Export your sponsors list into a spreadsheet:
- Navigate to Manage > Sponsors > All Sponsors from the Dock.
- Click the Export button in the top-right corner. The Export Sponsors dialog box will display.
- Optional:
- Check the Password Protect the file checkbox to secure the file.
- Enter a password in the Password text box.
- Choose the export format (XLS or CSV) in the Choose Format section.
- Click the Export button.

Assign exhibitor booths to sponsors for event exhibition:
- Navigate to Manage > Sponsors > All Sponsors from the Dock.
- Click the dropdown menu for the sponsor and select Assign Booth. The Assign Booth to Sponsor pop-up box will display.
- Select an Exhibitor Category and Booth.
- Click Assign Booth.
- To view and manage the booth, click the View Details link in the resulting pop-up.
