Sponsor Request Form

Overview

Enhance your sponsor request form by gathering detailed information about your sponsors' profiles and expectations. Use targeted questions and fields to understand their requirements and establish an ideal partnership.



Adding New Fields


  1. Navigate to Manage > Sponsors >  Sponsor Request Form from the Dock.
  2. Click the Edit button in the top-right corner to open the Form Builder. The left panel of the builder includes the following sections:

    1. Quick Fields



    2. Custom Fields



    3. Advanced Fields



  3. Drag a field from the Add Fields or Custom Fields section and drop it into the Preview section.
  4. Use the drag handle at the top of the field to reposition it in the form.
  5. Click the Publish button to save and update your form.

From the Advanced Fields section, you can include:
  1. Terms and Policies
  2. Purpose of Data Collection
  3. CAPTCHA fields


Editing Form Field Properties

  1. Navigate to Manage > Sponsors >  Sponsor Request Form from the Dock.
  2. Click the Edit button to open the Form Editor. 
  3. Click on the form field you want to edit. The Field Properties Panel will appear.
  4. To customize field details:
    1. In the General Tab:



      1. Title: Enter the field name as visible to attendees.
      2. Field Name: Enter the internal name visible in the Backstage app.
      3. Placeholder: Enter help text that will be displayed inside the field in the form preview.
      4. Description: Add a description that will appear below the form field.
    2. Decision-Based Fields (Dropdown, Checkboxes, Radio Buttons):
      1. Set a default value.
      2. Add subfields to gather additional information based on selections.
      3. Enable new options for dropdown fields and allow multiple selections if required.
    3. Field Requirements:


      1. Toggle Mandatory to make the field required.
      2. For text areas, specify character limits using Minimum length and Maximum length
    4. Set Layout and Visibility:
      1. Choose a One Column or Two Columns layout.



      2. Show or hide the field in the Visibility tab.
  5. Click the Close button to save.

  1. There are two types of Form Fields:

    Built-In:



    Custom:



  2. Default (Built-In) form fields cannot be hidden or made optional.
  3. If a default value is set for a hidden field, it will automatically be saved.
  4. Default (Built-In) form fields are encrypted by default. 
  5. The Field Name of Default (Built-In) fields cannot be edited. 

Setting Up Specific Fields

Upload Field (Build-In):


  1. Enter the maximum file size allowed in the Maximum Size box.
  2. Select the Field Type: URL or Image Upload.

Multiple file types are allowed, but only one file can be uploaded.

Terms and Policies:


  1. Select the Terms and Policies checkbox from Advanced Fields.
  2. Choose a mode:
    1. With Checkbox: Displays a checkbox with links to your terms and privacy policy.
    2. Without Checkbox: Shows a message implying acceptance upon form submission.
  3. Modify the message if needed.

Purpose of Data Collection:


  1. Click the Purpose of Data Collection checkbox under Advanced Fields.
  2. Choose a mode:
    1. With Checkbox: Requires consent for data collection.
    2. Without Checkbox: Displays a statement ensuring data privacy.
  3. Modify the message if required.

CAPTCHA Field:


  1. Click Captcha checkbox under Advanced Fields.
  2. Select the CAPTCHA type from the dropdown.
  3. Adjust the title text.
  4. Set field visibility.

Deleting Form Fields


  1. Navigate to Manage > Sponsors >  Sponsor Request Form from the Dock.
  2. Click the Edit button.
  3. Select the field you wish to delete and click the Delete icon.
  4. Confirm deletion in the pop-up.
Notes
Default (Built-In) fields cannot be deleted.
